Guest guest
Katherine, Since it is just your baby toe, wrap medical tape around the last two or three toe's to keep it in place. This will help it heal in the correct position. Does it hurt to bend it, if so then its probably broke. I broke my toe before, and I just taped the toes and it healed quite nicely after about 2 weeks. Be more careful clumsy ! ;-) lisa Katherine wrote: > > Guys, > > I was dragging a box across the floor to get it out of my way so that > I could arrange the furniture and I accidently ran the box into my > foot hitting right between the baby toe and the toe next to it. Guest guest
Hi Lisa, since it was pointing out almost perpendicular to my foot I thought it was dislocated because I had to push it back over with my hand. I went to the doctors to see if they could put it back in joint and I found out it is broken. I have a spiral fracture at the base of the toe, it actually is completely from the base. That is why it was pointing outward. They did tape it and they gave me one of those funcky shoes to wear to help with keeping it in place! They said that it should heal pretty fast! Cool! Anyway, thank you so much for your suggestions, the doc agrees! And yes, I will have to be more careful! Hee, hee!
