Guest guest
Hi Larry, You are right: the K is the ultimate blessing any human being might have. And yet, for those who are not ready, the blessing can be very troublesome. If the recipient is not ready, any energy transmission--even a simple reiki attunement--may have undesirable consequences. I know of a woman who, many years ago, went for a reiki attunement, and got so screwed up by the energy transmission that she lost her mind. Now she is regarded as clinically insane. She didn't have any of the symptoms before the reiki master started working on her. I guess she received an involuntary shaktipat (as it occasionally happens with reiki attunements) that went terribly wrong due to her lack of preparation. Due to his ignorance of kundalini processes, the reiki master was not able to help her, either. I had a long chat with him a couple of weeks ago. The man was so devastated that he has stopped practicing reiki altogether. Reiki attunement aside, this woman's story is a bit like Gopi Krishna's--with the difference that Krishna handled it pretty well, partly because his activation happened spontaneously. She didn't, because the energy was accidentally dumped on her from an external source rather than emerging from her own self through an internal maturation process. IMHO, anybody giving shaktipat without permission needs to be ready to deal with the karmic fallout pertaining to messing with somebody else's life. Those who do so with permission still need to have the knowledge and experience that is needed to handle the difficult situations that might arise if the recipient is not ready. Can the teacher who may have made this happen. Can they truly say they know her? Above all can she say she know her self? I'm sure you understand we can not begain to except what is going on, till we first understand the nature of our own begaining. I am not saying it's good to blast unknowing people with the power, but understand it's not one to be fear for those who are looking. To bring about fear and concern has been used for years to force people away from true love. It has become, the time set a side these things and awaken the true meaning of unversal existence. We have brought about enough fear. with Love Larry
Guest guest
I think we are talking about two different issues here. One is that of fear, which you are raising. Excessive fear of the kundalini has traditionally been used to keep people away--I agree with you. On the other hand, there is the issue of the risks that may be involved in an activation. Personally, I have had a considerable share of trouble when I was younger and trying to awaken my K without knowing much about it. If others hadn't occasionally seen the entities that pestered me, I would have seriously questioned my own sanity. The fact that irrational fear of the K should not be promoted doesn't mean that we should throw away all cautions. Just like with anything else, there are risks involved. This is why, for those who are on this path, it is advisable to be in the company of people who have some degree of experience in these matters. Regarding the woman who became insane after a reiki attunement: I don't know her personally, but my husband and my in-laws have known her for 40 years. The consensus is that she had an extreme reaction during the attunement itself, after which she was never the same again. The reiki master's diagnosis was " too much energy: she couldn't handle it. " To draw on a personal experience again: My first K surge happened unexpectedly after a reiki attunement; based on what other people have reported, too, this is a very possible scenario. I don't think it's too far-fetched to speculate that the woman might have had received an accidental activation, too. Regardless of whether she did or not, there is no doubt that the K is the ultimate blessing; however, when the energy surges through you and blows your world apart, you KNOW that you are dealing with something that needs to be treated with extreme respect. Guest guest
Hi Selena: Well, i may as well get my feet wet. Hi everyone, this is my first post. May i suggest to this lady, if she's interested, to get someone to remove the reiki symbols from her energy system pronto. It's worth a try. It may take some looking to find someone qualified to do this. I have heard of problems arising from reiki initiations. For that individual it was from the energies of the symbols placed there and the energies of the individual who placed them there. Yes, I agree with you. You are right my point was the first. I just felt, it needed to be said, as many new people are coming here and if you read the first few post it made it sound scary and bad. I would say, lets be careful of what we post as all are not fully in tune with what's going on. If I had read the first few post, when I first had my visions, I would have been very scared. With that said I'm leaving this alone as, I think we have made our points. With love Larry
