Yes the search for phenomena can have its drawbacks. Give yourself

some balance and practice this for a time. I suggest you do some

alternate nostril breathing and some Hatha Yoga with an emphasis on

stretching and acknowledging both sides of the body. front and back

and left and right.

 

I would also suggest you stop any difficult meditation techniques that

involve " trying " as this can lead you astray by force of your ego. I

would also recommnd not working on one side or the other, as this will

give the results of a child sitting alone on the end of a teeter

totter and wondering why it doesnt work. Blance is the key and both

sides need to be honored whether or not phenomena is experienced.
