Guest guest
Hi Tom, From what you say, it sounds like your ida and pingala (lunar and solar currents) might be a bit imbalanced. Alternate nostril breathing (nadi shodanam) and mindful awareness of how you operate (do you emphasize one aspect at the expense of the other?) might help you. Good luck, Sel , " Tom " <tconroy wrote: > > I am a little concerned with something I have noticed with my eyes > lately. Guest guest
Hi Selena, That sounds interesting about the right and left nadi. Alternate nostril breathing is one of the safeties that I am actually not doing anyway consistently; perhaps I should start. What do you mean by 'mindful awareness of how you operate'? Is this in respect to how we go about our daily life? Thanks, Tom... , " selena230 " <selena230 wrote: > > Hi Tom, > > From what you say, it sounds like your ida and pingala (lunar and > solar currents) might be a bit imbalanced. Guest guest
Tom, what I meant about " mindful awareness of how you operate " is the effort to figure out the extent to which your daily life experiences and perceptions emanate from your solar energy (rational, pragmatic, action-driven) versus the lunar energy (contemplative, intuitive, etc.). This should also help you achieve balance between the two. Sel , " Tom " <tconroy wrote: > > Hi Selena, > > That sounds interesting about the right and left nadi. Guest guest
Thanks Sel. I try to do this on a regular basis, one reason being that I found myself operating almost completely, at one point, from the rational/pragmatic side, abandoning the intuitive/creative side completely. This was to such an extent that I never used my left hand to do anything and was severely imbalanced. I have righted this to a good extent over the last 6 months but it wasn't easy breaking the habit. Cheers, Tom... , " selena230 " <selena230 wrote: > > Tom, > > what I meant about " mindful awareness of how you operate " is the > effort to figure out the extent to which your daily life experiences > and perceptions emanate from your solar energy (rational, pragmatic, > action-driven) versus the lunar energy (contemplative, intuitive, > etc.).
