Guest guest
I just wanted to thank all of you who gave condolences. The funeral went well. My brother-in-law and sister has many friends and family. Whew! For most of us it was more a time of celebrating and reminiscing. We were all glad he was done with his suffering. He always had a joke or a song to sing. As well as being a watermelon farmer for a big part of his life, he could sing and he played several music intruements and loved the nightclub scene and sang in one right up until he had his stroke last year. In his younger days he played with many country singers such as Buck Owen, Nate Stuckey, Jim Reeves, Marty Robins, just to name a few. He will be missed by many.
