Any one know what time it is?

The past two days I've been having the challenge of finding which

clock has the " right " time. When I need to know what time it is,

because of having to be somewhere, I find that the clocks I look at

have different times, variations of an hour to a half hour...even the

ones I thought I could depend upon, that always told the truth! It

felt really strange not being able to get the " right " time so I knew

if I was late or early, or " on time. " LOL! It was funny once I got

over the feeling of insecurity, and played along with it. Even my car

clock was off by 20 minutes, all of a sudden, which was so out of the

ordinary. My alarm clock keeps jumping back an hour, and then forward

a few hours later. I've been checking my cell phone clock for

grounding, but that may even jump around. Hahahahaha

OMG! I'll probably be late on my breaks at work again!

Is soooo weird!

Well, if you're in P.A., like me- the time is 11:28 p.m.

Love to you,

Tara

I don't have a real answer for you either but I know the

frustration. I have 3 key wound clocks (antiques) in my house and

they are all different. When first wound, they run fast (and not

together) and when running down by the next weekend, they are slower

(again at different times). Plus my oven clock, coffee-maker,

microwave, computer and phone all always have different times on

them. Not by hours, just minutes but which one is right, I have no

clue!! I guess I ought to take the time to get an accurate time and

sychronize them all. Just not a priority, really. Internal clock,

maybe? It works pretty well.

Good luck!

We have comcast cable out here and it comes with a box that has the time

displayed. I trust that and set all other clocks by it but, somehow with

daylight savings, it was wrong for awhile too. There are also clocks that

connect to a satellite somewhere, readjust themselves and that I find that idea

quite interesting. I cannot remember their name but could find it if anyone

were interested.

In gratefulness,

My boss has one like you're describing, Sherri...it is

called a radio-controlled clock, and this particular

one is made by Zeit. They even adjust themselves for

changes back and forth to daylight savings time.

Yes, that is the type. Interesting to think how they crreated such accuracy.

But maybe the K would mess with that too, lol.

Thank you, Sherri. I decided to just call the time and

temperature phone number when I need to know for sure.

the K can alter.
