Itching, vibrating, prickling, tingling, stinging or crawling

sensations

Intense heat or cold

Involuntary bodily movements (occur more often during meditation,

PLMD.)

Alterations in eating and sleeping patterns

Intensified or diminished sexual desires

Headaches, pressures within the skull

Racing heartbeat, pains in the chest

Digestive system problems

Numbness or pain in the limbs (particularly the left foot and leg)

Pains and blockages anywhere; often in the back and neck (Many cases

of FMS are Kundalini-related.)

Emotional outbursts; rapid mood shifts; seemingly unprovoked or

excessive episodes of grief, fear, rage, depression

Spontaneous vocalizations (including laughing and weeping) -- are as

unintentional and uncontrollable as hiccoughs

Hearing an inner sound or sounds, classically described as a flute,

drum, waterfall, birds singing, bees buzzing but which may also

sound like roaring, whooshing, or thunderous noises or like ringing

in the ears.

Mental confusion; difficulty concentrating

Altered states of consciousness: heightened awareness; spontaneous

trance states; mystical experiences (if the individual's prior

belief system is too threatened by these, they can lead to bouts of

psychosis or self-grandiosity)

Heat, strange activity, and/or blissful sensations in the head,

particularly in the crown area.

Ecstasy, bliss and intervals of tremendous joy, love, peace and

compassion

Psychic experiences: extrasensory perception; out-of-body

experiences; pastlife memories; astral travel; direct awareness of

auras and chakras; contact with spirit guides through inner voices,

dreams or visions; healing powers

Increased creativity: new interests in self-expression and spiritual

communication through music, art, poetry, etc.

Intensified understanding and sensitivity: insight into one's own

essence; deeper understanding of spiritual truths; exquisite

awareness of one's environment (including " vibes " from others)

Enlightenment experiences: direct Knowing of a more expansive

reality; transcendent awareness

Wow... hehe. Thought I'd comment on some of these. Thanks for the

reference, Sarita.

I'm not insinuating that my experiences below have anything to do with

the Kundalini, but thought I would list the similarities with what is

described here.

> Muscle twitches, cramps or spasms.

Amanda: Just a few hours ago I was staring at my upper arm watching it

twitch before my eyes. Thats always amusing.

> Energy rushes or immense electricity circulating the body

Amanda: The tops of my ears get " hot flashes " and feel so hot to the

touch and this is a recent thing, maybe 4 months or so. Sometimes my

face with be hot when the rest of me is cold.

> Itching, vibrating, prickling, tingling, stinging or crawling

> sensations

Amanda: This started a few years ago and nothing explains it!

Sometimes if I get cold or nervous, my palms will itch like crazy, and

turn red and swell a bit. No allergies, no new products, not eating

anything different. It started when I was nervous. If I hold something

thats too cold for a lengthy period of time, I swell and get hives. No

idea what it could be.

> Intense heat or cold

Amanda: Yes the face/ear flashes mentioned above.

> Involuntary bodily movements (occur more often during meditation,

> rest or sleep): jerking, tremors, shaking; feeling an inner force

> pushing one into postures or moving one's body in unusual ways.

> (May be misdiagnosed as epilepsy, restless legs syndrome (RLS), or

> PLMD.)

Amanda: Just that feeling when I am drifting off to sleep and I dream

that I am falling off of a cliff or tripping on some steps and

suddenly I jerk in the bed and it wakes me up and makes my heart pound.

> Alterations in eating and sleeping patterns

Amanda: Not really. watching what I eat (joined weight watchers with

my mom recently, haha)

> Episodes of extreme hyperactivity or, conversely, overwhelming

> fatigue (some CFS victims are experiencing Kundalini awakening)

Amanda: Nah.

> Intensified or diminished sexual desires

Amanda: Yes

> Headaches, pressures within the skull

Amanda: Yes, but thankfully not everyday.

> Racing heartbeat, pains in the chest

Amanda: twinges maybe, also a weird electrical " twinge " in the head

(Im paranoid of brain tumors)

> Digestive system problems

Amanda: occasionally

> Numbness or pain in the limbs (particularly the left foot and leg)

Amanda: Arms or hands in the middle of the night, but I think because

I sleep on my arm. :)

> Pains and blockages anywhere; often in the back and neck (Many cases

> of FMS are Kundalini-related.)

Amanda: Oh man! I very often get unexplained horrible pains in the

neck, almost like kinks, and I cant locate exactly which muscle it is,

and it will make it so that I cannot turn myt head from one side or

the other without extreme pain, or sometimes I can't look up or down

all the way without pain. I thought it was because of how I slept, but

then it started happening spontaneously during the day without me

doing anything to trigger it (that I am aware of).

> Emotional outbursts; rapid mood shifts; seemingly unprovoked or

> excessive episodes of grief, fear, rage, depression

Amanda: Yes: grief, fear, depressino

> Spontaneous vocalizations (including laughing and weeping) -- are as

> unintentional and uncontrollable as hiccoughs

Amanda: during some major anxiety issues earlier this year, but not

really.

> Hearing an inner sound or sounds, classically described as a flute,

> drum, waterfall, birds singing, bees buzzing but which may also

> sound like roaring, whooshing, or thunderous noises or like ringing

> in the ears.

Amanda: during a meditative or when I am drifting to sleep, or if I

take benadryl, :P! Bells, laughter, murmuring, fragments of phrases,

my name being called, sometimes I recognize the voice, but mostly they

are unfamiliar..

> Mental confusion; difficulty concentrating

Amanda: Don't we all?

> Altered states of consciousness: heightened awareness; spontaneous

> trance states; mystical experiences (if the individual's prior

> belief system is too threatened by these, they can lead to bouts of

> psychosis or self-grandiosity)

Amanda: Yes, occasionally the first two, and moments of very clear

intuition. I " zone out " quite randomly sometimes.

> Heat, strange activity, and/or blissful sensations in the head,

> particularly in the crown area.

Amanda: When I move something toward my " third eye " area. A pressure

or light-headedness.

> Ecstasy, bliss and intervals of tremendous joy, love, peace and

> compassion

Amanda: Very much so, since the participation in many NDE groups.

> Psychic experiences: extrasensory perception; out-of-body

> experiences; pastlife memories; astral travel; direct awareness of

> auras and chakras; contact with spirit guides through inner voices,

> dreams or visions; healing powers

Amanda: Sadly, not really. Nothing concrete or that feel like

something genuine.

> Increased creativity: new interests in self-expression and spiritual

> communication through music, art, poetry, etc.

Amanda: No, but I have the desire; just not the motivation.

> Intensified understanding and sensitivity: insight into one's own

> essence; deeper understanding of spiritual truths; exquisite

> awareness of one's environment (including " vibes " from others)

Amanda: Definitely.

> Enlightenment experiences: direct Knowing of a more expansive

> reality; transcendent awareness

Yes, but I cannot put it into words.

Hope you guys didn't mind this huge message, haha!

Amanda
