Guest guest
||Om shri Lalithambikayai namo namaha|| ||Om shri Gurubhyo namo namaha|| Pranams chrism.... I have read all the points in the safeties and been trying to follow the same to the fullest extent. With the point of single nostril breathing im facing a very serious problem. I have a slight deviation in the nasal bone that seperated the left and the right nostril the bone is bent towards right a bit. Im also having dust allergy due to which the inner muscles get inflammated and also the nasal passage gets filled with the mucus that is produced due to the allergy. Thus most of the time i do my breathing with arround 80% air through my left nostril and remaining through right. Now if i have to perform the single nostril breathing, with left there is no problem, but with the right its very difficult. I need to force the air through and it causes lot of discomfort. Could you please help me with a solution for this problem ((( Thanks and regards Prasad
Guest guest
Do not do the single nosril breathing Prasad. Do the other practices of the safeties and the Tibetans and if you are doing yoga be as balanced as you can be - ie do both sides of the body. Go into the files section and download the " chakra breathing " file. Go slow and breath through your pursed lips as if you are whistling. In and out this will have a controlling efect upon your breathing. This isnt a replscement for the single nostril breathing. But this will help you begin an installation of prana bursting into your practice. - blessings Prasad - chrism , " prasadkrn " <prasadkrn83 wrote: > > ||Om shri Lalithambikayai namo namaha|| > ||Om shri Gurubhyo namo namaha|| > > Pranams chrism.... > I have read all the points in the safeties and been trying to > follow the same to the fullest extent. Guest guest
Prasad, Instead of doing the alternate nostril breathing to balance your ida and pingala, you may want to breathe normally while you visualize light flowing in and out of the right and left side of your body, one side at a time. Also, have you tried a neti pot for your allergy issues?
