Guest guest
Had this bizarre spontaneous pranayama yesterday during my meditation: my mouth popped open, and I ( " it " ) started breathing through it with a deep hissing sound--exhaling more than I was inhaling, and holding the air out for quite a while between exhalation and inhalation. My hunch is that this is some kind of pranayama I am not aware of. I have had spontaneous yoga and pranayama many times in the past, but this came across a bit like a last breath rehearsal. Spooky, but also intriguing. I wonder what it was, or what it was meant to do... Sel
Guest guest
If you inhaled, then held, then exhaled, and held. This is indeed a pranayama technique the Yogis suggest. Also the bottom holding at the end of the breath is a technique that is used. Steve Fields told me of the technique of the " Sa...Sa...Sa " on the exhale. Nice to read your interactions Sel. - - blessings
Guest guest
Very interesting, I will be intrigued to hear more about this breathe and what you think it was " good " for. Were you breathing in and out at the same time? Love Elektra x x x _________ Answers - Got a question? Someone out there knows the answer.
