Update on my son

I want to give thanks to all of the prayers and healing sent by all

of you! They are all very much appreciated!

 

The prognosis of Joshua's arm is that in order to correct it now he

will have to have sugery. The doc told my husband that they would go

in and put pins and plates in his arm, but the doc highly recommends

that they just make a special splint for Josh that can be taken on

and off so that he can take a shower etc and see if it corrects

itself since he still has about 4 more years of growth. Given that it

is close to the growth plate the doc feels that it may correct itself

enough not to cause problems, but of course we will have to wait and

see.

The doc said that if it had been higher a surgery would have been

needed now. We aren't going to have him go through the surgery and

will wait it out. Josh's arm near the wrist is slightly deformed and

may remain that way. Please keep Josh in your prayers and ask that

the bone straighten itself back up leaving no problems where a

furture surgery will be needed.

 

We will be visiting the doc for a while so that the growth and the

healing can be monitored. His next visit is in 3 weeks. I will update

you then on what is happening.
