Guest guest
Hello, everyone! I'm new to this group and I would like to introduce myself. First I have to say that all the things concerning Kundalini, yoga and meditation are entirely new and interesting to me, and maybe my experience is not based on any of these (I don't know enough to be certain). I accidentally found out about Kundalini once while browsing the web, tried meditation and I realized that it's a familiar feeling for me. Then I found this page http://www.elcollie.com/st/symptoms.html and thought that maybe I've always been living with risen Kundalini. Just wondering: is that possible? I've had all of these symptoms for almost all of my life, but I didn't feel them as an illness or anything. My mom insisted taking me to the doctor to treat them, tho they were pleasant for me. Even my headache was 'mystical' I wouldn't say it was a pleasant sensation, but since very early childhood I was aware that I was different from others, and maybe felt better than they did. Maybe I'm just a person that feels good in her own shoes that most people find crazy. Then, when I was 16, it suddenly stoped - all my so called symptoms disappeared or were strongly reduced for almost 4 years. Then I realized what 'normal' feels like. And believe me, it feels weird! I felt heavy and stiff, like I've lost something essential. Now it is back to me with it's power, don't think I'm crazy or anything, in my opinion everibody feels best the way they're settled, not the way other people think is 'normal'. So, be free to feel the way you feel good! Your own original feeling! It is a pitty that I would find out about Kundalini so late, since my life was unconsciously dedicated to the experience of it. I do Kundalini meditation since about a month, because I realized it is essential to me and it will keep my original feeling circulating in my body, mind and soul, where it belongs, as natural as it has always been. This is how I experience it: First, I can feel a spot of coldness in the base of my spine, I visualize it in colour, but I think this is strongly individual. The energy is bright white to me, but it also trigers other colours (based on the sensation of it) that flow up and down my spine during meditation. While this happens, I can feel different sensations of touch on my hands and in my head, like there is a flood. A stronger 'flood' could make me feel like drifting, it causes dizziness and it could separate my consciousness from the outer world. Then the energy starts raising upwards on my spine. I can feel that I'm pulling it with my eyes, by visualizing my mental body image behind closed lids. At that time, my palms start feeling cool as well. This is how it goes, as general. When the energy raises to around the center of my back, it starts affecting my ears, and this is when I start hearing my sensations more noticeably than usual. Then everything turns into sound and colour for me. I don't know if others that do Kundalini feel this way. As the energy reaches my throat, I can feel physical sensations in my chest and shoulders, that are also creeping on my arms, and I can feel 'winds' of coldness on the tops of my fingers, and often on my face, and there's usually a shiver into my brain and then I most likely would see cyan, turquoise or light blue in my head. Then I start to drift off my body and feel coloured bliss of sounds. After that I would feel a cold ring on top of my head, like a hole in my skull it actually feels. And from there, I can feel the energy pouring like cool water on my skin and hair, and especially on my ears. After that happens I feel ecstaticly good! I experience an intense synesthesia (synesthesia is when a stimulus in one sense modality involuntarily elicits a sensation/experience in another sense modality; for example, one is able to see sounds, or hear colours, or anything just that weird and " impossible " , that makes me feel all the Kundalini sensations in colour, and I can see my energy wraped around me, or creeping on my skin, or shining in the air, conflicting with other energy fields, etc. Wow, that's a bit long for an introduction, I guess. Anyway. Hi! I'm interested in anything Kundalini, as in other people's experiences!

Guest guest
Welcome Fjspefj, I have read about that on the net, that a person can be born with an activated/awakened Kundalini. The article said it means that the person was fully awakened in a previous life. That is just something I have read. I don't know how true it is. I'm sure chrism will let us know about that. It is something I have been wondering about for sometime, but never remembered to ask. Guest guest
Hello 'fjspefj'! Wow, that is hard to pronounce! Do you have a first name that we might use to address you? That would be nice, if you don't mind sharing it. I would say that you are very blessed to have experienced Kundalini symptoms from a VERY early age...perhaps you were Kundalini active in your last life and you incarnated this time around already awakened, I'm not sure how that works! But what you are feeling is what many of us here, like me!, are looking forward to experiencing! We are at varying levels of K awakening in this group...I, for one, look forward to hearing more about your experience as I feel there is much to learn from you! You will find a safe and warm haven here...we are very loving and supportive and are only too happy to welcome another member into our family! Begin to Practice the Safeties (they are in the Files section) and feel free to ask questions! Guest guest
Thank you all for the warm welcoming :-D I'm glad to be here! My name is Emona. Yes, 'fjspefj' is just too 'stiff' to be a name! Since I'm new, I'm not familiar with Kundalini terminology, and have too many questions. Like, for example, is it true that people hear something during meditation (I know for sure about me, but I was wondering about others)? And there's another, opposite direction, not only Kundalini -> sound, but also sound -> Kundalini awakening. With me, hearing sound makes Kundalini rise more easily. So when I listen to the music, I can feel and see sounds on my skin and in the air around me, or inside my mind. Then I don't need to concentrate my consciousness on my body image in order to rise Kundalini energy, but somehow music does this for me. I've always felt my hearing, Kundalini and synesthetic experiences as strictly connected and symbiotic. Has anybody tried meditation while listening to the music? Of course, it is just my way to achieve it, but I'm sure there are many other ways, and everybody develop their own! I have a picture that shows a lot of how I feel myself, Kundalini and other energies. The visualization happens mostly in my mind's eye, and it's tactile in my body and on my skin and around me. I can sense 'winds' or 'floods' from other people's or animals' energies too, but it's a bit different then. You can see the picture here Claudia Lambright <newtfoodbowl wrote: Hello 'fjspefj'! Guest guest
Hello Emona, Welcome to the group, and thanks for sharing your beautiful experiences with us. My kundalini began very differently from yours (electrical surges, visions, and kriyas), but right now I am going through something similar to what you are describing: during meditation, I see waves of colorful light flowing through my body and around it, occasionally accompanied by physical bliss and the tactile sensation of liquid energy flowing upward, as well as tapping on (usually, though not exclusively) the right side of my brain. As to sound: The only sound I hear during meditation is the chirping of crickets, or, occasionally, a mantra, but while reading your posts I remembered that, the evening before my spontaneous activation, I was sitting in the symphony and felt my energy sore high, very high. It was an incredible sensation, and I was a little embarrassed--I thought other people in the audience might notice, LOL! Regarding synesthesia: I never thought of it in connection to meditation and the K. However, over the last fifteen years I have noticed that ideas for my writing often come to me in the form of colors, flavors, rhythm and musicality, etc., and originate as energies in different parts of my body. I always thought that this was caused by the fact that English is a second language to me (hence, my brain processes it a little differently), but now I wonder if there isn't more to it. Have you considered trying mantras? I find that they can generate incredible amounts of light and energy, each of which has a distinctive vibration and flavor. Guest guest
Hi! It's absolutely my pleasure to talk to you and share my experiences! I'm so excited I found this group, and look forward to learning more about Kundalini! (I have no idea what " mandras " is. *little ashamed*) Namaste, I see you experience a wonderful Kundalini awakening too! It sounds amazing as you describe it! I think the way you experience is similar to mine. Regarding synesthesia: I've noticed that foreign languages are much more colourful than my native. So if your thoughts or ideas are coloured (or have sound, smell, or anything), this is synesthesia. , " selena230 " <selena230 wrote: > > Hello Emona, > > Welcome to the group, and thanks for sharing your beautiful > experiences with us. Guest guest
Don't be embarrassed, Emona, I had no idea what Kundalini, kriyas, mantras, or any of this was until I joined this group and begin to read and research! That was only 6 months ago and then we didn't even have our fabulous website, which is an incredible reservoir of Kundalini information! Just read everything on our website (LOL) and then you will know just about everything you need to know (but were afraid to ask, LOL) about 'The K!!!' Love to you, Claudia fjspefj <fjspefj Wednesday, September 12, 2007 1:45:09 PM Re: My experience, Kundalini and synesthesia Hi! Guest guest
Emona, your photos are beautiful. I have experience seeing colors similar to that. I just didn't connect it to Kundalini. I call them my 'color lights shows'. Sometimes all I have to do is close my eyes and the colors are there, very breath taking. I would like for it to happen more often. Your kitty looks just like my cat when he was a kitten. Linda , " fjspefj " <fjspefj wrote: > > I don't know why this thing doesn't work with links.
