I have some tips to help with depression, to go along side the safeties and emotional surrender. I get really brightly coloured pens and draw like a child, anything, like rainbows, sunshine, big smiley faces, messages such as: " God loves you " , or " Don't worry be happy " , I then colour them in a decorate them and leave them around my house to look at. Another method is to put uplifting music on during the day or evening, dancing also lifts the spirits, even if you don't feel like it, put some happy music on, hum along, tap your foot, wiggle it just a little bit!!! SMILES* All these things help me when I'm feeling lethargic or down. Bright colours, art, music and nature. Breathing deeply and telling mself lovely things.
