Bob, thank you for sharing your experience of your Shaktipat with us! Very

interesting experiences to say the least! That is really GREAT to be able to see

your own aura or what looks like to be your own. I can see others sometimes, but

only if I don't try and than it is for a brief second. I believe that is mainly

because I tried to see it! Anyway, your experience is warming and inviting and a

great description to all the newbies who will be going through it for the first

time. Thank you ever so much for sharing with us.

Hi! I just thought I would throw my own two cents worth in here. I

have been thru one previous shaktipat and the symptoms then are much

the same as now-so far.

 

First off it feels like a warm blanket has been placed around me and

I get that tingling under the skin so often discribed. When I use my

inner vision, I can see what appears to be fireflies in my aura.

This has only happened during the shaktipat!

 

Then there is the gradual build-up of K-energy. This first manifests

with my left big toe turning red. Last time it had so much pressure

in it that a fluid was coming out from under the toe nail. As the K-

energy builds, I start to feel small electrical jolts in my head as,

I believe, rewiring is taking place. It builds to the point that I

can no longer do chakra breathing without getting a shock.

 

During the last shaktipat, I had a full spinal sweep of the

kundalini. However it did not go all the way into my head because, I

suspect, of a neck injury I had a few years back. I believe that

there are some blessed beings who have been working to correct this

problem and I may have the full experience this time around.

 

I believe that ones experience in the shaktipat relates directly to

ones success in practising the safeties. The safeties help to break-

up the samskaras (blockages) in our system that restrict the flow of

K-energy. I have been practising the safeties long before I read

about them on this site! They are a fundamental truth that permeate

thru many other paths.
