Guest guest
Hello to all of you! I would like for you all to say a prayer of thanks for me today when you get a chance. This morning on my way to take my kids to school I started smelling a burning smell, I asked my kids if they smelled it and of course the didn't smell it at first. When we stopped at the stop sign the smell went away. When I started moving again the smell returned and just a few seconds later smoke started coming out from under the hood. I told my kids to undo their seatbelts and be ready to jump out of the car as soon as I could get it out of the way of the traffic. When we stopped the Tahoe and got out I cut off the truck and a man looked under the hood to find nothing. As afraid as I was I went ahead and took my kids to school with the smell of something burning still there. God held us in His hands and got me back home safely. I am now waiting on roadside assistance to come tow the Tahoe to the dealership. Please give thanks that it didn't turn into something tragic! Love to all of you! Love, Katherine

Guest guest
Thank God Kat! My mom's car burst into flames while she was at a traffic light one time. The gas line that went from the tank to the engine sprung a leak! Sarita , " Katherine " <katsam19 wrote: > > Hello to all of you! Guest guest
Sarita, I am certainly GLAD she wasn't injured! I can only imagine how she felt! I really have had a rough morning because I couldn't get into touch with my husband and I couldn't call my daddy, I would always call him no matter what and I broke down and cried because the not being able to call my daddy really hit me hard! So anyway, thank you dear sweet Sarita and I am sooo happy that your mom didn't get hurt! Oh and pray that they find out what the problem is because there is no visible sign of anything burning and they told me at the dealership if they couldn't find the problem they would have to give it back to me. So please pray! Love, Kat Sarita <sarita1969 Thursday, September 20, 2007 12:20:13 PM Re: Prayer of Thanks needed! Thank God Kat! Guest guest
I find myself thanking Jesus the Christ a little too quickly sometimes when someone almost hits me in traffic on a near daily basis. Lol... Seoul's traffic is a little bit 'interesting' at times. I'm glad you and yours are safe and well Katherine. May we all be blessed with safety from those watching over us on our daily journeys 'out and about'! And many thanks for it! Happy fasting for those who are starting tomorrow! And to Electra doing a little bit of extra early cleaning! May every moment be 'eventful'. Bradly
Guest guest
I am so thankful to God that you and your boys are all OK. Maybe it was just a piece of paper or something that got caught underneath you car that burned. Surely if it had been some wires under the hood that burned they would have been able to find them. That happed to me once, some wires caught fire. Linda
