Guest guest
Dear Angelina, I'd like to offer you some of my experience in an attempt to help you out a bit with your question. I have been committed to awakening my kundalini for almost 6 months now; I have been practicing the Safeties, doing the Tibetans, the Compression Prayer, the Chakra Breathing, etc...all the practices recommended for a safe awakening...and to bring about an awakening in general...during those 6 months (not every day...I admit I had a period of questioning in which I abandoned the Practice for a while, but then I started anew). I have been through one Shaktipat already (Summer Soltice Shaktipat). I have only recently begun to 'feel' anything related to kundalini. And it is VERY subtle. Feelings of energy, various pains (and fullness in my ears, redness & swelling of my eyelids) indicating that there is rewiring/revamping occuring in my physical body, and a greater enjoyment of life. One of the most important things to remember about kundalini is that the K awakening is not about the 'phenomena' or the sensations you might experience...it is about the path of awakening to a higher level of functioning, a purer level of loving, absolute and immediate forgiveness of others and self, a sincere and irrestible commitment to serving others, and an enduring joy in simply being. I can't say, nor can Chrism, I don't think, nor can any of us say when you will awaken. But it will not be marked by a sudden realization, or even a sudden influx of phenomena or sensations...it will likely creep in 'on little cat's feet' as Frost said (wasn't it Frost??)...and you may not even really 'notice' that you are 'awakened' because you will be more focused on the selfless aspects of awakening...service, joy, gratitude, extreme love...than the actual sensations that might accompany it, because that is the goal of awakening. My advice to you, and I know you haven't asked for my advice, so ignore it if you are inclined to do so, is to relax...become very intimate with the Safeties...read them over and over and over again till you understand them on a gut and a heart level and not just an intellectual one...practice the Safeties like you breathe....automatically, involuntarily, and for the purpose of staying alive. Ask God and Shakti to make you alert to people in need of help and encouragement every day. Focus not on your physical body to notice if you 'feel' anything, but on the world around you and ITS needs. Believe me, there will come a time when you won't need to ask ANYONE whether you are activated and awakened. You will KNOW... Wishing you a wonderful awakening in the perfect time for YOU, Blessings & love, Claudia gypsyeyes_101 <gypsyeyes_101 wrote: Dear Chrism, I felt a surge of energy yesterday and a girlfriend saw me last night and said that I have a beautiful white aura all around me and she said she never saw my aura like that before ~ I have known her for a few years. Guest guest
Dear Claudia, Thank you for your very wise words and there may be a way to check someone'e development on the Astral, is what I have heard. I don't understand what the eyes and ears thing has to do with Kundalini awakening but I suppose it can manifest in various ways and the power of the mind can work in mysterious ways. I agree with you that I will Know. Guest guest
Angelina, For a better understanding of what the eyes and ears, etc., the 're-wiring' of the body by the Kundalini, do some reading on this website; it is not terribly easy to understand but it is the most complete examination of the process of physical/emotional transformation by Kundalini that I have seen: www.biologyofkundalini.com I assure you, the physical effects are real and not a product of the power of the mind...it's really a beautiful thing, once you come to understand it! The K literally 'makes you over, inside and out!!' To be a worthy vessel of the Holy Fire! Guest guest
Hi Angelina, There are various symptoms related to the Kundalini that can manifest. Have you read over the website? It has extensive information. There are many teachings, lists of symptoms, etc. It most likely has many of the answers that you are seeking. There is no " fast track " to the Kundalini. The work must be done in order to manifest. Take the example of a garden. You plant seeds, water them, tend them and they grow. If you have not done any of the work, there will be no growth. Does that make sense? Guest guest
Hi Sarita, I have been doing the work extensively for almost a year now and have known about Kundalini for most of my life and studied the Eastern teachings in my early 20s. I am currently reading two books on the website by Gopi Krishna that are very informatiive. It is not handed to us on a silver platter and I know there are not 10 easy lessons to Mastership and we have to do the Work and it can take many lifetimes. Guest guest
The analogy to seeds is perfect, Sarita. The untended garden rarely produces anything. And the K website is the perfect companion to the biologyofkundalini website I suggested, Angelina...we didn't have the K website when Sarita and I joined the group, which was the same time, back in March...so I had to forage around the Internet to find what I could about the K. Believe me, I wanted to know EVERYTHING I could about what I was getting into. Are you researching this thing that you are wanting so badly? That and the Safeties would be a great start! Guest guest
Yes, Claudia ~ we must tend our gardens . . .
