Guest guest
How do your pets react when you meditate? I have a dog and 4 cats, my cats in particular seem to detect the energy when I meditate. My oldest cat Heaven is about 2 and is the mother of the other 3 male cats(Halo, Tiger and Therapy). When I meditate she likes to jump on me and put her face in mine, the other day when I opened my eyes after meditating she was laying on the floor staring intently in front of me, I got up and stood in front of her, she looked at me and her head started going around in circles. Today, while I was meditating, Tiger decided to lay next to me, he was kneading the side of my legs, when he stopped I opened my eyes to look at him and he was stairing in front of me and his nose and whiskers where twitching, I went back to meditating and he fell asleep next to me. I was feeling a lot of energy and his whole body started twitching as he laid by my side, it was as if he was having kriyas! So I started to wonder how are our pets affected by K? I wonder if they are helped by being around us when we meditate, I can only assume so since they enjoy being near me when I meditate. I wonder what they are seeing and sensing, probably more than we think. I would love to hear your stories or opinions on this. A side note, my 5 year old named Therapy, I am not sure why he chose this name, but when he asked if he could name one of the kittens Therapy, I thought it was a very appropriate name for a pet. Guest guest
That's very interesting, Diane. I've had these kittens 4 months now and they don't seem to be around much when I meditate, usually asleep somewhere in the house. But today, they were playing outside and one of them came and laid down right under me (I was sitting on a bench outside) and she lay there with her eyes half closed the whole time. I was surprised she wasn't off exploring the garden with her brother. I don't know but suspect they feel or even see our energy and react to it. I'll have to watch them more closely to see if I see any reaction. Interesting thought. Guest guest
Hi, I have 3 rescued dogs, 2 female Shar Pei and a male half Shar Pei, half German Shepherd. When I meditate or, even more, have someone on the massage table doing energy work with them, they all want to be very close (like on or under the massage table) are quiet, blissed out and sleepy. When I am finished doing either of these things the dogs will sit where I was or their preference (yes all 3 and the mix is very large) jump on the massage table and stay there a long time. They now seldom ask to on the table with a client but most people will let them be in the room. And then there are the times I send to the dog I am petting and massaging and they turn upside down, mouths open and eyes closed in bliss. They seem a little disoriented for awhile after, lol. And these were very badly abused and neglected dogs, emotional and physical wrecks when I got them. (Shar Peis are strange and wonderful animals with may allergies, eye and ear problems and a very different personality form other dogs. My brother said the aliens must have come down and tried to make an earth animal and almost did it) It is so beautiful to see them today and to see them trust the the foster kids and other people who come here. Guest guest
I love this story, I love cats so much, and they definitely pick up energies, they probably astral project also and are great dream shamans (so it is believed by some south american cultures). I know they are feeling the energies and joining you. I noticed that cats are attracted to sexual energy as whenever me and my husband would make love our cats would appear and start purring and jumping on the bed and licking us....LOL They also love musical vibrations. Beautiful creatures, no wonder the egyptians worshipped them, I do too! Love and kitty purrs Elektra x x x _________ Want ideas for reducing your carbon footprint?
