Guest guest
Well they said that they could be hidden and that it would be very hard to find them if they are buried! We had a Buick once and the harness caught fire while we were in it and the smell was identical to that! When I first smelled it I told myself it was outside the car, but then when the smell grew stronger and I saw the smoke I knew it wasn't good! In our Buick the the wires that were a part of the harness that burned had been overheating for several months before it caught fire and even after we smelled the burning and we lost use to everything in our car except the headlights and the engine itself, the Buick Dealership still had a hard time finding it. It took them two days to find it and that was with them literally stripping our car apart and they found it up underneath the dashboard just inside the fire wall right beneath the fuse block. So I hope they find it. Just imagine a house fire where there has been an electrical fire and that is what it smells like, a very distinct smell. You know! I am glad to see you are okay! Yippee! Thank you ever so much Linda for your love and your thanks! Love, katherine Linda <crazycats711 Thursday, September 20, 2007 1:56:39 PM Re: Prayer of Thanks needed! I am so thankful to God that you and your boys are all OK. Maybe it was just a piece of paper or something that got caught underneath you car that burned. Surely if it had been some wires under the hood that burned they would have been able to find them. That happed to me once, some wires caught fire. Linda ______________________________\ ____ Fussy?
