Guest guest
Thanks Katherine, I know I've done the right thing in staying with him, most people that knew, didn't think I should have. I just knew it was the right thing for me to do. I can hardly stand to watch show on TV, like Lifetime show where there is physical abuse. I end up crying big time. I'm thankful he has never physically abused me. I don't think I could have handled that. I do feel that it could have turned into that though, if I wasn't protected. Hmmmm...I just thought, maybe that is the kind of service I should become involved with. The battered women's program, that is where I always denote any no longer wanted clothes or household items. I don't know what I could do, I'm not qualified to council or anything like that. Maybe volunteer my time in helping out with their resale store. I sure they could use some help in sorting through all the stuff that is denoted and needed pressed and priced to ready it for sale. I used to work for J.C Penneys, so I know a little bit about working in a store. I also am a really great seamtress and could make any repairs in the clothing that needed to be done. But then again, I really love being involved with children. Just the other night I had a dream and I had all these children running around in my house. One was at my computer and some were at the table eating and a little girl was even helping clean house and having fun doing it. LOL! That was a wonderful dream. I really love having children around me. Children are in my dreams a lot. I didn't know any of those kids that were in that dream. You stuck around, forgave him, loved him unconditionally, and showed him he could be loved and could love. I am just really really proud of you! You definitely have a purpose here on this earth! You are a very strong individual. Continue your path my dear friend, it is definitely meant for you to travel it. > > With much Love, > Katherine
Guest guest
Linda, do more than one thing if that is what you feel the desire to do! I can see you working with children, I sure can! I can tell that you would be excellent and this is based on how you talk about your grandson! I know you would also be great at working with battered women because you know what it is like, not the physical abuse of course. Anyway, a lot of organizations will train you on counselling call them up and see what their criteria are for working with them. I know you will be great at anything you choose. I would love to hear about it when you do. Blessings for your love and your courage! Guest guest
Thanks Kat, for the encouragement. I will check it out and see what I can come up with. I will keep you informed. BTW, my grandson may be moving to Minnesota soon. I don't know what I am going to do without him or him me. It's going to be hard on both of us. Lot of telephone calls, I'm sure, at least until he gets adjusted being without me. I would say that as someone with experience you are perhaps the best kind of councilor. Love Elektra x x x _________ Answers - Got a question? Someone out there knows the answer.
