Hi Eamonn,

Welcome to the group, nice to meet ya.

It has helped me alot to discuss this with everyone

here as it has been a real quandry in my mind.

I find it difficult to kill even a mosquito (but I

will and then bless it in to the higher realms...hee

hee).

I have always hated agression and violence, perhaps

because my father brutally beat me as a young girl on

regular occassions (he had a serious anger problem and

came from an age of discipline/punishment).

 

I became a veggie and pacifist.

 

But I can see that defence is ok but perhaps the power

of love is the best defense
