Guest guest
May love follow her and help vanquish fear . We all still have some personal demons to vanquish i guess. Might i suggest that later on new people are given a couple of reassurance mentors to help them feel at home , preferably people who also felt a little shy when starting here . For those of us who have self esteem issues , fears about the unknown, fears of getting things wrong , fears of being ignored because we are unworthy , fears of being overwhelmed by those with loud voices who sing so much better than us , need i go on ? When you have travelled a path its easy to forget how hard it was( analogy to childbirth ladies )and i suspect that those who find this difficult are at least as important to the group as those who manage without gas and air so to speak ! Oh yes i am volunteering when/if the time comes . Not criticising the system chrism ...just seeing it from another viewpoint .Sometimes people being sure and forceful because they know something makes the fear worse and you feel more excluded .Sometimes seeing the inner circle enthusiastically endorsing their successes and grasping difficult ideas at once makes me feel totally inadequate . Guest guest
Your the second person to suggest this Elizabeth. So it must be given as an option for people. Kundalini can be such an unknown and somewhat daunting subject. Perhaps we should explore this option for folks just coming on board. Dont know that this was Ady's issue though. There were other aspects to her scebario that made the subject as discussed here a bit cloudy for her. I wish her well. So if you would like to organize this, you and perhaps the other person who suggested this that would be fine as long as it is extended as a courtesy and can be refused if the new person isnt interested. - blessings Elizabeth - chrism
Guest guest
I think that's an excellent idea, Elizabeth...mentors or 'K buddies' for the newbies...Chrism? What do you think? Sarita has mentioned the same idea to me...sounds like several of us are feeling that this would be a good thing. Guest guest
as a newbie i really like that - there is so much here it is hard to follow -i probably am like others i do not want to disturb people who are busy - i would like to send also but really have no idea how or what - i have always asked others to do the praying since i do not think i am any good at it - i think of my higher pwer as a jokester - he plays jokes on me and then i get to figure it out - so there is this push/pull relationship thinking of all - especially chrism - what a marvelous gift you share boun giorno loro 239-980-9090 Take the Internet to Go: Go puts the Internet in your pocket: mail, news, photos & more. Guest guest
I did actually offer Ady an ear and a shoulder off line whenever she needed it. She did write to me and tell me a few things but hers was not the " normal " situation bless her dear heart. I may try to stay in touch if she doesnt mind.
