Guest guest
Excellent thought John, especially the observation that we don't routinely hear expectations from new members...I for one will make it a point to ask that questions of new members. Knowing what new folks expect can help us to respond to their needs as well as to recognize expectations that may be outside of the experience here. I have a feeling that there are almost as many reasons as exits. But early membership mentoring is a great idea as very few people, on joining, give more than a few words about their expectations.
