Guest guest
I had some lower back pain come out of nowhere yesterday, then this morning when I first awoke about 1:30, the pain was excruciating. I lay on my back and pulled my knees to my chin and pulled by chin to my chest, to stretch the back, and held that position for several minutes. Then I lay down flat on my back and surrendered over and over again. Then I sent some healing to people on my healing list. After that, the pain was reduced by perhaps 80%, which is amazing to me. I was able to go to sleep. Now it's morning and the pain is still there but it's not real bad. I can't think of anything I might have done to cause the pain, so I am assuming it is the K. What is the purpose or significance of this low back pain, Chrism? Is it associated with the opening/activation of Muladhara, which is the focus of Day 1 of Shaktipat? Is there anything I can do to attentuate the pain or should I just go with the flow, no pun intended? Luckily, I will be doing only the first Tibetan today, which will not aggravate the pain. I am concerned, however, about the rest of Shaktipat when I will ideally be adding one Tibetan each day, because the rest of them definitely involve the back. Any suggestions? I have not taken any analgesic, but I am wearing a 'heat wrap' over the painful area. Is that OK? Thank you, dear Chrism! Love, Claudia Be a better Globetrotter. Guest guest
I wouldn't worry about it Claud, it's part of the shaktivation, just relax. Yoga is great for the back anyway so just go ahead with the tibetans anyhoo. I'm sure it will move as the days progress. You may find tomorrow it has mysteriously evaporated or moved to another area, just keep praying and drink that water. Love Elektra x x x _________ Want ideas for reducing your carbon footprint? Guest guest
Hi Claudia, My cat woke me up at about 5:05, that was 3:05 chrism's time and my back was hurting too. Did my cat feel something? I could not go back to sleep for two hours because of the energy and pain and then when I did it was very light sleep. I use that time to meditate and send pray/healing as well. I felt a little nauseated from lack of sleep and was glad I was able to sleep in a bit this morning. My pain doesn't sound so much as yours though and mine is more in the lower shoulder blade area just like last Shatipat.
