Guest guest
Is a manifestation of an energy pattern or signature that can often lead to a Kundalini expression. Unless drug induced. It is NOT a sydrome or an affliction. imho - chrism
Guest guest
You answered this before I asked. I was going to, because I wondered what RLS was. Don't know if I still understand. Is it like when I see colorful spirals? I see them often while meditating. Guest guest
Restless leg syndrome is as the name implies - an uncontrollable urge to move the legs which often interferes with a person's sleep. There are conditions which can imitate or worsen RLS such as alcohol use/abuse to venous insufficiency, but strangely, it seems to often be familial. Vitamin and mineral deficiencies should be ruled out as it can be easily taken care of, and it can occur w`ith neurological diseases also. Of course, one of my favorite cure-alls for just about EVERYTHING - lol - if able . . . is hatha yoga. I have NEVER used any dominergic agent to treat RLS, and I have seen a patient improve with meditation only. Very interesting, as at that time, I was not into meditation! :-) They taught me! Guest guest
Thanks for explaining that Melissa, but I thought it was something to do with K with the way he worded that. I was having that last night or something maybe similar, but it isn't something I normally have. I just figured it had to do with the electric like energy that was going down my back, all the way to the bottom of my feet. It began about 6:00 pm the first day and the same time today, but more on the right side this time and not so intense. I have had a lot of pressure across my forehead and behind my eyes most all day. I guess that would be yesterday the 2nd day, since this is already the beginning of the 3rd day and I need to go to bed. I just mis-understood what chrism was talking about. I didn't know what RLS stood for. Guest guest
I have had this all of my life. I do appreciate the medical analysis though it doesnt apply for me. I feel there has been some resarch that Dr. Melissa is citing. - There are many things that do not apply to me in a medical context.lol I feel the research has found a cluster of definitive causes for the RLS and from what she said it has multiple causes. Perhaps not all causes have been identified outside of the accepted and recognized parameters of observation and causation. I.E. If science does not accept a parameter as existing then it wont register as a cause. Like the Kundalini itself there is still much more to be discovered. It is good to know what the current DX is with in the accepted parameters though - thank you Dr. melissa. - chrism
Guest guest
Hello Linda - That is RLS as far as a medical condition. Now, there's not a whole lot of information in the medical literature on k-related phenomena - or maybe I was playing hookey that day from med school ;-) lol - but I suppose something similar could happen. In fact, last night, I was having some kriyas myself in bed and it was very much like RLS, so go figure! Guest guest
That is Restless Leg Syndrome. I get it every night now and sometimes it distracts me from meditating in the evening. I used to get it once in a while, but since the K I get is every dang day!! Sarita , " Linda " <crazycats711 wrote: > > You answered this before I asked.
