Guest guest
Belief systems that are used by our brothers and sisters can be accepted regardless of how they were created or how they are currently practiced. A belief based on faith is a viable and valuable path. It is a trust based and strong system.imho. Christianity as practiced by some today is a splendid example of reaching out with love and forgiveness and helping. Many are the other beneficial aspects of this beautiful spirituality. Some of the Christ based systems have been changed over the centuries to initiate certain agendas. The Lutheran split the methodist split both of these churches split off from a larger group to move forward with their own particular belief agendas. But in my opinion a belief system is only as good as those who practice it now, what ever the rules are. Dhyana makes me very happy about Christianity and she has adapted the Shakti prayer most succesfully I feel. There are some rules that are directed towards those on the Christian path that are there to be followed as they see fit to follow. It is the choice of that person to interpret the bible as they see fit. And for another to see it differently is that persons choice. It doesnt need to make sense to anyone but the individual following the rule or feeling the belief. What Christ said or did is anpother aspect of the faith. What may feel right for one may not feel right for another. No worries. It is the beauty of the freedom of belief. That we can all choose our spirituality with as much diversity of thought and intention as we wish. The Christ is a real force.imho. As are the many other divinities that have graced the minds and hearts of humanity. - my take on this - chrism
Guest guest
Totally true and correct as always, and I meant no disrespect to anyone. I totally honour peoples choices , I guess a part of me feels that peoples free will is sometimes manipulated and I know that Dhyana is correct about pushing a button in me...hee hee, as that is a very large glowing button with a sign next to it saying " warning do not press " . But what I feel about peoples free will being manipulated is my own journey and demon to be dealt with, I do not want anyone to feel like I do not honour their path, I apologies completely if that was implied to Dhyana or any other christian member of the group. I personally love Jesus. May everyone walk their path of choice in freedom. Much love and humbleness Elektra x x x _________ Want ideas for reducing your carbon footprint?
