Leslie, thank you and I feel exactly the way you described yourself! I don't

look down on them and give what I can even though I am told it isn't a good

thing to do! I feel that whatever they do with the money is their business! One

day you will know what you are supposed to do! You will feel it in your heart

like I do and it will burn for the desire to do it!

Kat! That is beautiful. I don't work in a soup kitchen, but, have been in the

midst of homeless people...in the strangest of places. I ALWAYS think...what if

they are an angel? What if they are a test to my own human kindness? I have a

HUGE place in my heart for the homeless. Lots of people disregard them as

drunks, or drug addicts, or what have you. But I never have. I always have this

very soft spot for their situation, and think about what may have put them in

the place where they are..could be SO many different things. If they ask for

money, I give. I've been told not to do that, because they might just spend it

on alcohol. But I still do it. I give because my heart tells me to, and because

where they spend it does not matter to me. I REALLY wish that I could do more, I

just don't know how.
