I just wanted to share with you some of the things that I do that I

consider to be of service to others so that you can do it if that is

what you wish or feel comfortable in doing!

Whenever I go to the store and they have travel size shampoo,

toothpaste, deodorant, etc. at a GREAT price I buy them, when I see

wash clothes in an economy pack for a GREAT price I buy them as well,

and when I go on a trip and have to stay in a hotel I put the

complimentary soaps and shampoos in my suitcase to take with me. I have

a bag here at home that I put all of them in and when it gets filled I

take them with me to the " Daily Bread " or the " Sharing Center " to give

as a donation. This is something that doesn't take much and I

contribute a lot through helping those who can't afford to buy the

essentials they need to be able to have them so they can stay clean and

as healthy as possible. The " Daily Bread " has showers available during

hours of operation so that the clients can take showers or wash

clothes, etc, etc. The " Sharing Center " gives out the items to those

who come in and ask for them. Either way people are being helped. So if

you feel giddy and want to contribute, go out and buy a few small

things and donate them. My kids help in getting them at times when they

are with me so I feel great that I am teaching them to values of

sharing and giving in a simple way. Blessings and Love to all of you my

dear brothers and sisters and may you have a wonderful and spiritual

growth!

Love,

Katherine

This reminds me of a little thing I like to do when I go away. I

usually leave behind something someone might forget at home like a

razor, toothpaste, paper plates, etc. It is my hope that someone

will be in need of it and it will be there.

On my way to work yesterday there was a person driving this really

big caddy and they obviously did not have control of their car. They

were weaving a bit and taking turns out of control. So, I slowed my

car way down so they would have to drive slower and hopefully more

carefully.
