Guest guest
Hello all, I'm very happy to report that my back pain is practically gone! I awoke in the night feeling I had slept in a bad position or something...the existing pain was quite amplified. I surrendered and went back to sleep. When I awoke this morning, I felt great! Very little pain, just vestiges. I am real happy about that and believe that surrendering has been my greatest lesson this week. Later in the day I developed a headache, but it's not intense, I ate some watermelon, and it has essentially subsided. The headache is preferable to the backache in my book, LOL! I've had tingles in my head, and last night as I was going to sleep I had some sudden somewhat intense and mysterious pain in my left leg from mid-thigh to mid-calf along the outer side. I had a communication challenge today when the post office lost a package that they tried to deliver to me 2 days ago. There was postage due, so a notice was left. I left an envelope with the postage due and signed the notice to allow them to deliver the package. For 2 days, no package. Then today I got home from work to find the notice was back (along with the envelope with the postage due money) marked with the words 'can't find it.' Great. Went to the post office and got a pretty good run around but I didn't lose my temper...I simply pointed out that they had the package 2 days ago so it must be somewhere. They're going to look for it and talk to the carrier. All in all, a good day! Looking forward to days 6 & 7, especially day 7 when I get to help build a house for Habitat! I was worried that my back pain would stop me from participating as I had planned, but I've been praying to God & Shakti to at least release me from the pain at least long enough to volunteer for Habitat on Saturday then they could bring it back, LOL!! I guess they agreed that a reprieve was in order since my goal is serving others!! I can always go to the site and do something, like hand people nails and bottles of water, but I would rather do a lot more than that and now I have high hopes that I will be able to. Thanks for listening. I'm enjoying everyone else's stories too...Valarie's and Sarita's and Anne's dreams, Scott's irrepressible love wave, Becky's myriad of experiences, Melissa's and Marie's happy progress, Dhyana's inspiration...and more!! This is turning out to be a very special Shaktipat and this group is absolutely wonderful. I really love you guys! Claudia Got a little couch potato? Check out fun summer activities for kids. I'm sure that Shakti will give you a reprieve so you can build a house for someone in need. We love you too!
