Guest guest
Hiya chrism... Since the shaktipat, I started doing the Tibetans twice per day, instead of once, and they seem to be aggravating a pre-existing, though controlled case of carpal tunnel. When I bend my left wrist and put a downward pressure on it, doing the exercises, it's quite painful. Any words of wisdom other than just stopping them until it gets better? Thanks.... Guest guest
Dear Paul, My humble suggestion, Try homeopathy for your Carpel tunnel syndrome. Visit the web site www.abchomeopathy.com and type the symptoms in the window provided. You can then refine the symptoms. finally you may order the the medicine also online. It costs around 2 dollors, generally. My prayers for your healing. Regards Venugopal PS - In one way, homeopathy is a system of 'spiritual' medicine. By infinite dilution of the molecule of the medicine, the " Spirit " of the molecule is brought to play a role in healing. paulrffff <paulrf2 wrote: Hiya chrism... Guest guest
I'm sorry for butting in on your conversation, but I have a question. Are you saying that symptoms of Carpel Tunnel have an association with healing? I am only asking because ever since the Shaktipat started, I have severe symptoms of Carpel Tunnel that seemingly came out of the blue. I never associated it with the K, do you have any links or information that pertains to it? Thanks! Guest guest
Hmmm, this is interesting. I have had carpal tunnel in my left wrist for several months now, and about a month ago I even developed a large bulge on it (a ganglion, more precisely). Now I have to wear a splint and had to cut down on my hatha yoga practice. I used to blame handstands and too much computer. Is CT really related to healing? Guest guest
If the question is directed to me, Carpal tunnel syndrome is not related to any healing. One can develop such syndrome, among other things, by using the key board, too long and too frequently. Here is the case of late El collie, who had Kundalini awakening experience : http://kundalinisplendor.blogspot.com/2004/04/gift-of-el-collie.html When I experienced awakening in 1981, I did not know a single person who had heard of, much less experienced, kundalini. . . . But in the early l990's, such awareness was still quite rare. Thus, when I heard that someone in Oakland (California) had started a newsletter dedicated entirely to kundalini awakening, I was overjoyed. It was called Shared Transformation and was written and edited by El Collie . . . .. . . . . .she stated that she had carpal tunnel syndrome not only in her hands but in her feet as well. .. . http://www.elcollie.com/st/intro.html . . . . The risen Kundalini can produce a staggering array of physical, mental, emotional, psychic and spiritual changes which can fast become overwhelming. . . . regards Venugopal Pam McK <fliesatnight wrote: I'm sorry for butting in on your conversation, but I have a question. Guest guest
Thank you Venugopal - I'll take a look at that site. I wish I could think that I'm far enough along for this to be the K, but I'm not that optimistic. But who knows.. perhaps chrism can look into his crystal ball. But I'm more inclined to think that I'm just over taxing my wrist.. But I will look into the homeopathy... Guest guest
Yeah, and skip the down- and upward facing dogs. Bending the wrist at a sharp angle can be pretty damaging (I learned it the hard way!) Guest guest
Thanks Elektra... That might help to a degree, but my main issue is where the wrist actually bends, and I'm not sure a bandage would help. I'll see what's available though.... Blessings.. Guest guest
I have a feeling Pam meant 'kundalini,' not 'healing'...if you read her entire post, you will see that it is likely that is what she meant...for instance...see this part: " I am only asking because ever since the > Shaktipat started, I have severe symptoms of Carpel Tunnel that > seemingly came out of the blue. I never associated it with the K, " Hopefully, she will clarify this at some point because we MAY be getting off on a tangent that had nothing to do with the original question! It makes no logical sense that carpel tunnel syndrome would have any relationship to healing. my thoughts here... Guest guest
Greetings Paul, Since you don't want to bend your wrists- you might try using fists, knuckles to the floor, rather than open palms for the tablemaker and up/down facing dog. Since your wrists would then be straight you could wear the support bandage. This is how I do them because with open palms my wrists become sore. Blessings to you, Stag

Guest guest
Yes Paul the carpal tunnel is transient, I also experienced this for a time as well and have no residual pains of that left. Stagspurling wins the prize! I have done his suggestion exactly as he describes when I also had the sore wrists. Dont skip any of the Tibetans use the fist method first. - blessings everyone who helped Paul and to Paul himself. - chrism , " stagspurling " <stagspurling wrote: > > Greetings Paul, > Since you don't want to bend your wrists- > you might try using fists, knuckles to the floor, > rather than open palms for the > tablemaker and up/down facing dog. > Since your wrists would then be straight > you could wear the support bandage. > This is how I do them because with open palms > my wrists become sore. > > Blessings to you, > > Stag >
Guest guest
Thanks Stag, Paul, Chrism, all. I developed this too during the last days of shaktipat this time. It was hard doing the last two tibetans those last couple of days and went back to doing #4 the alternate way I was doing it. Doing the 5th one doesn't seems to hurt as much. I will try using my fist. I used to have CT bad back when I had my sewing business, but it went away after chiropacter adjustments.
