Guest guest
Dear Amanda, The Kundalini does have a lot to do with the Chakras. The Kundalini, otherwise known as " K " on this site, is a latent energy that lives coiled like a snake in the base chakra (located at the very base of the spine/tail bone). It is refered to as a snake or cobra because of the way it coils 3 1/2 times. Shakti is the goddess who is often related to the Kundalini (the divine feminine) and as we activate Shakti/kundalini she uncoils and begins to move upwards through all the rest of the chakras, cleaning and opening up blockages along the way. When she is fully active and has made her journey upwards she bursts fourth through the crown chakra and reunites with Shiva/divine masculine. Earth=Mother Sky=Father. When this is complete the divine curcuit has been created and a new level of existance is experienced. It is transformational by nature, as the snake represents rebirth and eternal life (think of how the snake sheds its skin and becomes renewed). The kundalini is a powerful life force energy, best to be taken very seriously and with the utmost respect, like handling a cobra!!! Soft and gentle, slow and safely. My experience so far has been one of great joy and healing. Hope this helps you understand a little more my sister love Elektra x x x _________ Want ideas for reducing your carbon footprint? Guest guest
Hi Elektra, Very interesting, thank you much. I actually have a tattoo on my lower back, the " serpent of wisdom " ; it is a snake coiling aroung what looks like a cabbalistic tree of life symbol with 10 circles which represents the path from the physical to the pure spiritual. The snake is making its way up this " tree " . I liked the meaning, and it fit in with me at the time, it was also on an album cover of a band I really liked. It now seems to represent the Kundalini, in a way, now that I read about it. Its funny how things can be symbolic of other things as time goes on. <3 Amanda ---- Original Message ---- elektra.fire RE: Re: New Here Amanda Thu, 4 Oct 2007 05:55:37 +0100 (BST) >Dear Amanda, >The Kundalini does have a lot to do with the Chakras. >The Kundalini, otherwise known as " K " on this site, is >a latent energy that lives coiled like a snake in the >base chakra (located at the very base of the >spine/tail bone). >It is refered to as a snake or cobra because of the >way it coils 3 1/2 times. >Shakti is the goddess who is often related to the >Kundalini (the divine feminine) and as we activate >Shakti/kundalini she uncoils and begins to move >upwards through all the rest of the chakras, cleaning >and opening up blockages along the way. > >When she is fully active and has made her journey >upwards she bursts fourth through the crown chakra and >reunites with Shiva/divine masculine. >Earth=Mother >Sky=Father. >When this is complete the divine curcuit has been >created and a new level of existance is experienced. > >It is transformational by nature, as the snake >represents rebirth and eternal life (think of how the >snake sheds its skin and becomes renewed). > >The kundalini is a powerful life force energy, best to >be taken very seriously and with the utmost respect, >like handling a cobra!!! >Soft and gentle, slow and safely. > >My experience so far has been one of great joy and >healing. > >Hope this helps you understand a little more my sister >love Elektra x x x > > > _________ >Want ideas for reducing your carbon footprint?
