These seven months that we have been together Have been the loveliest of all my life. All moments dance within your balmy weather, Nor could my heart be anything but blithe, Knowing I have all that I desire. You've chosen me, with all the world to choose, On whom your glance falls like a holy fire, Undoing all that would such joy refuse. .......THANK YOU........ Guest guest
Prasad, Thanks for your kind words. You have a beautiful soul. i would like call myself a light-house or a beacon who would show light to other fellow travlers, tell them where not to tread. i prefer the term 'senior fellow travler' over guru. I understand the joy that you are feeling inside you, and the roller-coaster of emotions and euphoria you are experiencing. Welcome to Kundalini World Love keshav , " prasadkrn " <prasadkrn wrote: > > THIS IS A PERSONAL THANK YOU TO MY GURU...Keshava sir....i found this > over net...much suiting my situation.... > > These seven months that we have been together > Have been the loveliest of all my life. > All moments dance within your balmy weather, > Nor could my heart be anything but blithe, > Knowing I have all that I desire. > > You've chosen me, with all the world to choose, > On whom your glance falls like a holy fire, > Undoing all that would such joy refuse. > > > .......THANK YOU........ >
Guest guest
" i prefer the term 'senior fellow travler' over guru. " GURU: The word guru, a noun, means " teacher " in Sanskrit. The word holds a special place in Hinduism, signifying both the sacred place of knowledge (jnana) and the imparter of knowledge. The word has it roots in the Sanskrit gri ( " to invoke " , or " to praise " ), and may have a connection to the word gur, meaning " to raise, " to lift up " , or " to make an effort. " A notable esoteric etymology of the term " guru " is based on a metaphorical interplay between darkness and light, in which the Guru is seen as the one who " dispells darkness of ignorance " . According to the Advaya-Tãraka Upanishad (verse 16), guru is composed of the syllables 'gu' and 'ru', the former signifying 'darkness', and the latter signifying 'the destroyer of that [darkness]', hence a guru is one characterized as someone who dispels spiritual ignorance (darkness), with spiritual illumination (light). A similar interpretation describes the guru as the one that " removes the darkness of ignorance " is based on the Guru G & #299;t & #257; (literally " song of the spiritual teacher " ), a spiritual text found in the Mãrkandeya Punãra, which describes a dialog between & #346;iva and his consort P & #257;rvat & #299; on the nature of the guru and the guru/disciple relationship. This was the definition of the guru from Wiki...... A guru is one who leads us towards enlightenment/salvation and leads us out of darkness and ignorance........One who corrects or mistakes and imparts us the true knowledge that would help us to lead a better, a proper, a righteous and happy life....... And sir...you have been correcting me from my mistakes....giving me knowledge...helped me to lead a much better life......all ur actions prove the definition of a guru........if you have to tell me that you are not my guru.....you may have to disprove your actions......can u reject your act....... A guru becomes one by act not by age...peetha.....or by appearance and costumes....... Sorry for arguing with you here but no place i can stand for anyone telling you are not my guru......... Thanks and regards Prasad
Guest guest
Hello Prasad Kesh isnt denying that you accept him as a Guru. And certainly no one here is saying not to call him that - except Kesh. He merely preferes that you do not refer to him in that way. Thank you for the Guru definition and for your enthusiastic support of Keshav and his many positive gifts. -
