Hello Prasad, Thank you for your warm and wise

response.

Yes, it is sad when unforgivenss goes on for years and

years...

The Safeties are a good place to deal with

forgiveness, yes. On the Christian path it is a strong

mandate as well, that we are to forgive each other. In

fact we are told " Forgive us our trespasses as we

forgive those who tresspass against us. " And the

prayer of St. Francis states it as " It is in pardoning

that we are pardoned. " So she knows all this. But

bitterness really does a number on people, and maybe

its too hard to break free. I don't know.... She is

not able to hear me about the situation. I did do

something for her last week that may bring a

change... " Do good to those who hate you " is pretty

much what your guru told you in saying that " love will

leave its mark. " We'll see...

I am so happy for the change that forgiveness is

making in your life. That is so wonderful, Prasad. I'm

very proud of the work you are doing, and the fruit of

it will be a joy to behold.

Thank you for caring, and for the great lessons. It

has helped me a great deal to be able to share this

and talk about it, and receive all the wonderful

thoughts from those in the group. Thank you to every

one who responded. It lightened my heart.

Warm hugs. Love, dhyana
