Guest guest
This is exciting (to me) because I've read of others having something similar so have an idea what it is. Today, I've had a feeling on the top of my left foot like I've scalded it. There is nothing visible, no redness, no swelling but it feels constantly like it's burning. to touch it is painful, like an actual burn. Yet there is nothing there. And I've had sharp stabbing pains in that foot this afternoon. Like someone using my foot for a voodoo doll. As far as I know I haven't cheesed anyone off lately! Feeling very tired also (not relative to the foot) and I seem to be in a vicious wake/sleep/wake cycle. Not getting off to sleep quickly or easily (RLS big-time)and once I do, something wakes me then I can't go back to sleep for a long time. When I do sleep, it's very hard, dead to the world hard. But I wake up feeling like death warmed over, tired, pale, circles under my eyes. Sleeping-in is out of the question. My 5 yr. old wakes me up at the crack of dawn whether I want to wake up or not. And going to bed early is out of the question as things are going on in the house, noisy things like music practice and washing dishes till 10pm. (I've tried it, doors closed and all, it didn't work). I get a little nap once in a while but can't do it often. I'm sure this is all K somehow or other. So I will ride it out. I'm mostly wishing for the sleep fairy to knock me on the head good for about a week solid. I'm sure I'd feel much better! Guest guest
Val, It is nice hear about your progress! I haven't heard of a phantom burn before so that is an interesting piece of information! Thank you! I sure hope that the sleep fairy conks you on the head and you get some really well needed sleep! I have burning in certain parts of my body where I don't see anything, but it hurts to touch! I know it is K. I have burning in all parts of me and it is warm an toasty but doesn't hurt to touch or rub! I only believe it is K and just go on with what I am doing while I say thanks to both God and to Shakti for the experience! My life is so wonderful and I am enjoying the perks of the safeties! A part of me that is here to stay! It is quite nice isn't it Val! Congratulations!
