Guest guest
" I am usually half asleep about to start dreaming, yet I can still feel myself in bed. " Yes, this is definitely the hypnogogic state and you are likely on the verge of an OBE. As I mentioned, it was my intense program of OBE induction that activated my K. When you are in this state, if you wish to leave your body, then affirm 'Now I'm out of body,' or " now I leave my body,' or 'now I have an out of body experience.' Then look for the vibrations to start or, if you can, 'reach out' to them and pull them to you. What happened to me after a very busy month of projecting twice a week is that, when the pre-OBE vibrations began, I experienced a strong, gripping sort of electric-feeling vibration directly to my root chakra...like a sustained bolt of electricity. This happened on three different occasions over a 10-day period. That was when I joined this group and began to observe the Practice in order to begin to awaken my kundalini. Not a bad way to K-activate! says that it is not at all uncommon. I will see a white circle and it gets bigger and smaller which makes it look like I am shooting in and out of a tunnel or something. aS FAR as the falling or tripping feeling, I am usually half asleep about to start dreaming, yet I can still feel myself in bed. Ill be about to trip over something and then realize I am in bed. I figured it was excess energy getting itself out because I thought this happened to most people but I really dont know for sure. Guest guest
I will have to keep that in mind when I feel that state again, and am aware. I usually go with the flow, but I can imagine how being " conscious " during that state could be pretty powerful. ---- Original Message ---- newtfoodbowl RE: hypnogogic state -- Amanda Tue, 9 Oct 2007 07:46:19 -0700 (PDT) > " I am usually half asleep about to start dreaming, >yet I can still feel myself in bed.
