Guest guest
I agree with Dhyana. No matter what we read or how authoritatively it has been written, we should use our own inner barometer to test it's truth. I try to always go inward and ask myself " Does this ring true to me? " The higher self will step in and let you know if you let her. Sarita , novalees <Novalees wrote: > > Forgive me for jumping in, dear Elektra. Guest guest
and my favorite quote is: (drum roll) “Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.” by: Buddha Love and Light, Leslie Sarita <sarita1969 wrote: I agree with Dhyana. Guest guest
Hi Elektra! My two cents worth (well perhaps 1.5)... You have one of the greatest gifts you could possibly have... you have a technique / system (whatever you wish to call it) whereby you can learn spirituality first hand, and not have to depend upon second hand information. As long as the K is working for you, I think that additional searching will only muddy the waters. Any words that you read are only a pale reflection of the truth inside of you. Love and divine peace to you Elektra. Paul -------------- Original message ---------------------- " Sarita " <sarita1969 > I agree with Dhyana.
