Guest guest
Hi, I just joined your group. Yesterday, out of sheer frustration, I posted something at another group, in regard to my disappointment with some of the Awakened Ones, and I was invited to join this group by one of your members. I have briefly scanned some of the current messages, and, I must say, the people here are quite a cut above so many others I have come into contact with. I am a little blonde Baby Boomer from North Texas. I had my Awakening 25 years ago. I had no idea what had happened to me - for many years. I came from a Southern Baptist background. I rejected all of that when I was just a child. This has been a very lonely Path. I hope that we can help each other ... With love, Fenix

Guest guest
Hi there Fenix and welcome. Feel free to tell us more about your awakening , I am interested to know about your experiences. I " m 32 years old and have been studying the Kundalini with for 1 year 6 months. My parents didnt have any personal beliefs and I'm quite the odd one out of my family (even though recently my youngest brother and father have been opening up quite dramatically...wonders will never cease). Guest guest
Hello and welcome Fenix! You have been led to the place where you are supposed to be, at this time! One thing you will find when you are here, is that you are not alone. So many of us have had a variety of experiences...so many different experiences...and a lot of us have felt like we have walked or are walking a lonely path...but we are not alone. Guest guest
Hi, Igor, Thank you for welcoming me. I continue to be the Heretic in my family. The Advice I have been given - for years - from well-meaning friends is to just let it all go ... They believe that my Path seems to have caused me more pain and suffering than ecstasy. They don't understand. I am so tired of being the victim. I don't think that that's necessary any more. I used to think that. I am now working on my degree in Metaphysics. It is really helping me to stay positive. Guest guest
Hi, Elektra! You sound as if you have a very interesting life! As I mentioned, my family is Fundamentalist. My father is Head Deacon of his church, a brother is also Minister of Music at the same church, my sister is Minister of Music at her church (and an award winning composer of Christian music. See her at YouTube ... !!! ), another brother runs an Internet Christian Radio site, and also writes and performs Christian music with his wife. So, I totally relate with you being the odd one out ... I will write about my Awakening. Soon. : ) !!! I'm sure that you've heard about many. So bizarre ... (laughing!) And, so unforgettable ... Guest guest
Leslie, You just can't know how overcome I am by all of the sweet and welcoming replies I have received from members of this group. Yes, it seems to be a lonely Path, and it seems as if we have to walk it alone. When we come across others who are on the same Path, we finally realize that we are not alone ... And, that makes such a difference! Of course, we each have spiritual helpers, but, it's so hard without human companionship ... I agree - " You have been led to the place where you are supposed to be, at this time! " Love, Fenix , Leslie Smith <i_ama_lighthouse wrote: > > Hello and welcome Fenix! Guest guest
Hi, Paul and Sarita! This truly is an exceptional group! At Last!!!!! There is so much love here ... The way it should be. Yes - I have had some interesting experiences. But, I have felt like such a failure. At one point, I thought that the gift had been revoked. And - Why me? And - why haven't I progressed to the stage that I thought that I would be at by now???!!!!! Obviously, I have had more than my share of Pity Parties ... I am very excited to be in the company of such a group as this! Love, Fenix P.S. - My real name is Pam, but, I " was given " this name. ; ) In 2005, I - Finally - discovered that the other spelling, " Phoenix " , also meant - an Initiate in the Egyptian Mystery Schools. I was totally blown away ... , " Sarita " <sarita1969 wrote: > > Welcome Fenix! Would love to hear more of your experiences. I think > you will find you are in the right place now. Guest guest
You are a dear sister who has just come to the family reunion. Welcome Pam (or would you prefer Fenix?) You can correct me! :-) Your background sounds similar to mine. I grew up in Tennessee in a Church of Christ family and was made to go to church every Sunday, Sunday evening and Weds. night. I hated it. I only had moments that felt spiritual and that was in song. Ours is a very lonely path, especially in some parts of this country (and the world, you guys in other places?) This is the first place that has an all-around good fit to me. Others had something but here there isn't any squabbling, petty hurtful comments, gossip...I won't go into all the negatives of other places. But what I've found (and I've been here 7 months now) is love, friendship, knowledge (lots and lots of stuff to read, learn, ask questions, etc.) and just kindred spirits. We share experiences, good and bad, exciting, embarrassing, whatever. I don't feel criticized or judged in what I say and am free to express myself fully (with courtesy for others, of course). It feels like my other family, the ones you don't get to see much but talk to every day. I'm here because it's where I belong right now. So a big welcome to you. We look forward to hearing from you and sharing with you. It's going to be amazing! Blessings, Valarie , " Pam " <mystick53 wrote: Hi, I just joined your group. Guest guest
LOL!!! I sort of exaggerated the brunette thing...I've got a lot of silver in my hair now, but that is a good K color, so I wear it proudly! So, I guess I should say that I USED to be brunette, too, LOL!! Guest guest
Welcome Fenix, as you've already found, members of this group are beautiful people, full of substance, wisdom and compassion - social activists from the heart, from whom I've already learnt a great deal. http://www.kundaliniawakeningsystems.co.nr/ put together by member Glen, is a nicely structured reference source for anything of special interest, most notably the Safety precautions for all stations on the Kundalini journey. Like Claudia and yourself, I'm a babyboomer and one who I think would have been blissfully sliding round the mud at Woodstock NY but for living on the opposite side of the world! Perhaps a pilgrimage to California would be the next best thing !! Look forward to hearing your story. Flowers in your hair and much love - John xxxx
Guest guest
Hi Fenix, and welcome. I too, am one of those baby boomers, born and raised in the Piney Woods of East Texas. I sure miss those tall pine trees. Practically live in one as a child. I was a loner type from a large family. I could not stand all the chatter and bickering that went on. I have lived in South Texas now for the last 20 years...way down here on the coast. My mom did not turn gray until well in her seventies and it seems like I am much like her and will stay burnette for a few more years. I had blonde hair for the first few years of my life, too. I do have some gray around the edges already, though. Would love to hear your sister sing. Could you give us a YouTube address? Christian music is what I listen to mostly.
