Guest guest
I had the strongest RLS and other muscle/nerve firings I can remember. In bed, just drifting off to sleep I was awakened by my head turning left to right, slowly but insistently, like a slow " no " nod. Like something in me wanted me to wake up. Then my legs got the restless leg feeling, no amount of stretching seemed to help. My toes pointed hard, like a ballerina's toe balance. It pulled so hard the arches were cramping. My back was straight and long. And my hands went into a mudhra I don't know...first fingers (pointer)of both hands touching the mound below the thumb on the palm the other fingers and thumbs sticking straight out. The stretch felt good but even as extreme a stretch as it was my hands felt they needed to stretch some more. Then, there was one hard contraction of abdominal muscles that caused me to sit up in bed. Like all the muscles you use when you cough activated all at once. I jolted upright! That only hap- ened once. The hands and feet thing lasted maybe 15 to 30 minutes and I fell asleep right after that. So something happened there! The head turning thing and sitting bolt upright in bed were definitely not done voluntarily by me. As the hands and feet just seemed to know to go to these positions and poses, I think they were really kriyas. Cool! Valarie
