A poem of love and thanks.

At first I walked alone,

Often crying , sighing,

no one heard my sadness.

I was searching endlessly for love.

I looked here and there,

could not find it anywhere,

There was no map showing me the way,

No X marks the spot.

Where is the love?

Does it fly above me ?

Should I search the sky?

Should I search the mountains?

The sadness seaped in , until darkness surrounded me,

I sobbed and sobbed until no more tears,

I sighed.....

Finally,

totally at peace within the darkness , I felt it,

A small glowing light within my own heart,

A flame flickering very gently, small but sure, but

definitely there.

A light within me, warming me up from the inside,

What joy, what bliss,

How could I have missed it?

It was there inside me, calling to me but I could not

listen.

Now silent, I heard it at last, I was quiet enough to

hear it's song.

A sweet lullaby rocking me in it's arms.

Unconditional unwavering love, right there all along.

What joy, what bliss

God's sweet kiss,

Inside me all along, I can feel it growing

The flame burns brightly , now it's glowing.

I'm so filled with sweet love it brings tears to my

eyes, just knowing

Eternal love, Mother, Father, Child. One.

Thankyou for showing me the way home .

Thankyou for this love.

I am eternally grateful. x x x
