Guest guest
Hello everyone, I have been trying to post for a couple of days, (having probs with web browser and email programs) I LOVE this group!!!! I too have a background of abusive Father and men, and of addiction. I have a theory, that came to me recently, that addicts are people who remember what it felt like to be ascended or enlightened or at least partially awakened. And that is what we are searching for, that is why all addicts will say they feel or felt a huge hole in their heart chakra. And the drugs, alcohol or whatever, give us at least a rememberence of what that bliss felt like. Also, about forgiveness. AA teaches to do what we call 'working the steps, and one step 5th I think, has you to write down all resentments you have and what your part was, if any. Some things, such as childhood abuse, you have no part. I did this many many many times. This helped immensely. The biggest help to me, however, was reading Conversations with God, by Neal Donald Walsh, Book 1. He said that when we decide to incarn, we do it with the same souls (some) over and over, and we make agreements with one another, to teach each other , mainly forgiveness, which is one of the main things we come here to learn, I believe. MY belief. He says that a soul has to lower their energy very much in order to do the things they do, in order to teach you to forgive. They are actually being very giving and loving. It is actually VERY painfull for them to do these things, but they are happy to do it cause they love you so much. I SOBBED when I read this. It helped me very much to forgive the people in my life I needed to forgive. I hope this helps, and I hope I got the gist of it right enough to help. Also, I have always seen everyone as a soul in a human body, and seen them as acting in my best interest, it is my job to figure out what they are trying to teach me. Sometimes this is VERY difficult! I Love you guys, and I would dearly love to be able to go to the seminar we have been discussing. OMG it is so exciting to think about. I am in Mid MIchigan, maybe we could do like Rainbow and have carpools! Anyone else around me? I don't have a car. Way cool list guys! Thanks everyone! Guest guest
Hi, Carol, You are right about the Walsh book...it's fabulous...have you read Conversations with God in a Life That Never Ends?? Talks about death and life between lives...I'm reading it now and it's very hard to put down...I'm constantly having those 'OMG!' realization moments. I'm glad you managed to get back to us today! I have problems like that sometimes...it's usually either ...or my ISP, who SWEARS that there is something wrong with my modem and it's NOT them....right.... Hope we both make it to the seminar! Guest guest
Dear Carol, Great to read you are enjoying the energy here so much. And I agree with your theory about addiction , as someone who has been a drug addict I can tell that it was spiritual bliss I was actually searching for, but drugs gave me that same feeling in a pill, only with a come down and side affects.... Exstacy tablets give a similar feeling to kundalini rushes. When I found God I gave up drugs. Literally. Big hug, lots of love Elektra x x x _________ Want ideas for reducing your carbon footprint?
