Guest guest
Hello again I was wondering if I can get an opinion or if anyone else has had this happen to them with an active " K " . My " K " has been active for close to an year now and I have had most symptoms that are listed . Three months after my initial awakening my wife told me things that I would do after falling asleep in bed . She would describe me as sitting up in bed asleep making hand gestures and fluid arm movements as though I was dancing from the waste up . This happens always two nights in a row and then stops for a month or so and then starts again . My wife really doesn't understand what I'm going through right now and it seems to frighten her some when this happens . I was wonder if anyone is having this at night and how long this might go on . Guest guest
Hi Chris, Are you saying that you were not aware of the kriyas yourself and that you know it happened only because your wife told you about it afterwards? That is what happened to me...just once so far. It was the day before the last Shaktipat...we were at my folks' house. In the morning, my husband asked me what I had been doing in the night...he said that I sat up on the side of the bed and was doing something with my arms in the air...he asked me if I had been exercising. I don't remember it at all, which is odd to me...it seems like I would know if I were having kriyas. It also strikes me as similar to your experience...it seems to have involved only my upper body...from the waist up. The next night, my lower back was hurting me, so I slept in a different (harder) bed...if I had kriyas that night, I do not remember again, and my husband was not with me so was not able to report it to me in the morning. So, as far as I know, it has happened only once. Have you explained to your wife that this is a part of the Kundalini? How does she feel about your K awakening? Is she generally supportive? We discuss the role of spouses in our awakening processes here often. Obviously, it helps if our spouses are 'on board' with what is happening to us. Perhaps you could point her to the section of our website that discusses kriyas so she could read about them and come to see that they are a natural and harmless part of awakening...perhaps that would quell whatever fears she may have. I believe that kriyas can occur off and on for an indefinite period during our awakenings, but I'm sure will have a more definitive answer. I can almost set a date for when they will start it seems . It will always be two nights in a row then it will stop . I love my wife and family but she is just not open enough to want to understand . I am okay with that and will not push anything on her that she is not comfortable with .
Guest guest
I understand your not wanting to push your wife...and I was not suggesting that but just offering her the availability of an explanation...often people are afraid of or nervous about that which they don't understand...'fear of the unknown,' you know. My husband is supportive of whatever I want to do (after 32 years of marriage, he knows to expect the unexpected from me, LOL!) but he doesn't 'believe' in kundalini...he says he'll believe it when I can heal him with my touch! He'll listen when I try to explain things, but isn't interested enough to sit down and read about it...but he is very happy that I'm happy about what is happening to me, which is just great in my book! Perhaps your wife will come around in time... I wonder why you get the kriyas two nights in a row? How often does this happen? Once a month...or less often? I have a feeling there is no set pattern for kriyas that applies to everyone...just like everything else involved with kundalini, everyone's experience is different.
