Guest guest
Me once again -- this is how I am when I talk to my Mom on the phone, we hang up and then I call her like 4 more times with other things I forgot to tell her! LOL Anyway, also wondering I've been veggie for abt. 16 yrs. now and see on the safties that we may need to eat meat -- honestly -- the thought just makes me ill, since I don't think I could ever do it. I have been an animal lover for years and the whole thought of it is a problem for me -- I read on another website if you cannot eat the meat just up your root veggies -- ChrisM, what is your take on this -- really I don't think I'd ever be able to do it... Thanks! : ) Christine
Guest guest
Christine - ChrisM really scolded me when I brought up this exact subject during the recent shaktipat. I have since eaten a few things meat - a hamburger a couple of times and some chicken, but overall, I still don't care for it. I guess if my body suddenly demands meat, then yah, I can do it, but it has not to date. Whew! Guest guest
Scolded? I was perhaps adament about the subject but hardly scolding. But hey, if it helped you to " get it " then so be it - lol - Melissa! Christine - You eat what the Kundalini tells you to eat and that very often includes meat. If you are not willing to completely surrender your control over your diet and other ego based systems of behavior then this will not go well for you. It can make you very ill if you do not follow those intuitive directions. Kundalini understands the Kundalini process better that your little (i) consciousness or ego understands the Kundalini process. So you need to ba able to listen and follow the directions however you feel about it from an ego based or behavioral attitude. Complete surrender means just that. It knows what is best for you and that will mean you as an ego consciousness needing to step out of its way and do what it says under no uncertain terms. - , " Melissa " <mm7810 wrote: > > Christine - > > ChrisM really scolded me when I brought up this exact subject during > the recent shaktipat. Guest guest
I think to fully surrender to Shakti you have to surrender your diet also. Perhaps you feel this way now but you may feel different. Like when you are pregnant and get cravings...hee hee. I was also a veggie for most my early life, but now I eat some meat, I am an animal lover too but animals eat other animals, and they don't hold it against one another or us. Just bless the animal, give gratitude for it's offering of sustainance. I think the animal would want to help you activate. Just me thoughts, I totally empathise. Guest guest
Hi ChrisM, Well okay, I just think it may make me ill to eat it due to how I feel about it -- I am determined to expand myself with K. so I just hope that will not be my direction! Thanks tho... and yes I agree with you for getting the ego based behaviors out of the way... : ) , " chrism " <> wrote: > > Scolded? I was perhaps adament about the subject but hardly > scolding.
