I grew up in New Orleans and was there during Hurricane Betsy in 1965...the city flooded then, too...it took 2 weeks for the waters to recede. That wasn't near as bad a hurricane as Katrina, but still the city didn't learn from the experience... It got to be a challenge to mask your emotions about losing everything in the hurricane, so don't be too hard on yourself. Glad Chrism's timely post was helpful...he has a knack for 'being there' just when we need him...another of the many gifts that the K has bestowed on him!
