Guest guest
There are going to be some who will have pains in the joints. This is because of a lack of daily yoga like stretches that can alleviate such a problem. Tibetans will help this somewhat but the best ways are the Hatha Yoga postures. Going into them slow breathing slow and deep and holding at the apex of the stretch and slowly coming back to the nuetral position. Doing both right and left sides always. For those of you building a flow this would be good to put into practice.......because its all hyperbole until it happens to you! - to quote a fool. -
Guest guest
Chrism, This brought up something that I have been wanting to ask you. On occasion, arthritis " attacks " my left elbow. My husband gripes at me for not doing yoga, as he has taught me to do. Time just slips away from me! It seems that I don't have time for everything! I'm gonna have to re-think my priorities ... Last November, I was diagnosed as Hyperthyroid. (Very late on-set!) My doctor says that I am " just slightly " Hyperthyroid. But, I do have to take anti-thyroid meds. Also, for the first time in my life, I have ezcema (dyshydrotic) on my hands. Little blisters appear, and then, open, drain, and subside. Cracks appear in my hands, and it is not only painful, but, I have to wear vinyl gloves in order to prepare food, or clean with cleaning products. I will not use the steroids that were prescribed. Instead, I am using Tea Tree Oil, and it is working. Fewer outbreaks now. Recently, I was diagnosed with " restless leg syndrome " . If I don't take extra potassium, I wake up in the middle of the night with Charley horses in my left leg. The medicine my doctor prescribed doesn't work at all. Only the potassium helps. Until fairly recently, I was - Always - as healthy as a horse. In your opinion, could all of these medical problems have come from my stalled-out Path? Blocked flow? I find it interesting that one of the chakras is located at the same position as the thyroid ... that little " butterfly-shaped " organ. Blessings!
