Guest guest Posted October 18, 2007 Report Share Posted October 18, 2007 Sorry to be the bringer of bad news Prasad, I have had to give up eating many delicious things and yes it does make you feel like a sad fairy at times :-( But when you begin to get used to it and feel the benefits , it makes you a happy fairy :-)) Try cutting down, try not to drink things with sugar, honey is a good alternative for sweet tooths. Drink water or green tea. I allow myself one coffee a day in the winter when I'm in need of a little pick me up, I try to go without but sometimes a little of what you fancy is good. Just try to find a balance. Most people eat far too much sugar and it really isn't good for the body. I have begun drinking a little bicarbonate of soda in spring water to alkaline the body like Denny suggested. Watermelon also, sweet and alkalining (great when u juice it). When you are under Shakti's instruction she can be very demanding, it's good to listen to her as she does know best.
