Guest guest
He may need them going over some of those mountian roads, depending on which route he takes, I suppose. I wish I could meet up you, too Chrism. Maybe someday. I have not ruled out completely about going to the K Seminar. What is the cut off date for being able to choose? March is way to far in the future for me to make that decision just yet. I may need to have a garage sale and get rid of some of my belongs. I would love to meet up with too, Ben. Guest guest
Hi Linda - Well, it's a straight shot on I-40 and if I recall from my flying days, the highest elevation he will encounter is a little over 4000 feet. Not snow weather, yet. But, perhaps he will diverge into Colorado or something. Only he can say. :-) Hope to see you at the K seminar; still not positive I can make it, but will certainly try! melissa , " Linda " <crazycats711 wrote: > > He may need them going over some of those mountian roads, depending > on which route he takes, I suppose. > > I wish I could meet up you, too Chrism. Guest guest
That would be great Linda, one of these day I plan to go to Mustang Island again, hopefully, and I think I still remember how to get around the town you live in. Spent many parties there when I was contracting on the coast. Can’t remember using chains for the last 40 years, didn’t think they still made them. , " Linda " <crazycats711 wrote: > > He may need them going over some of those mountian roads, depending > on which route he takes, I suppose. > > I wish I could meet up you, too Chrism. Guest guest
Hi Melissa, I have driven from Texas to California with some friends, but of course we went through New Mexico and Arizona, lots of hill, but not snow. When we moved to N. Dakato we went through Colorado and I know there are some BIG hills up that way and lots of snow. My husband is a truck driver now, before he was in the oil business. We moved all over back then. There are not too many states I have not been in or at least driven through. My husband goes both ways to California, either through Colorado or Arizonia, according to which part of California he is going to. He is headed to Tulsa tonight. I do not know which part of California is from. Guest guest
Cool Ben, be sure to let me know when you make that trip. Looking forward to it. Hehe! Don't know about partying, but we can go out eat. Hey, I didn't even use snow chains when we lived in N, Dakato and there was snow on the ground from Sept. through May. I sure did a lot of sliding all over the road at times. I don't know how I managed to not wreck... came close a few times. I did plug my car into electicity every night to keep it warm, though. When we moved back to Texas I left the plug still connected to my car. Got lots of comments on that. Hehe!
