Guest guest
Dear Linda, When I started skimming this post, I thought it was my own. I have been talking about this lately in a few other gruops. I have been seeing quick pinpricks of light flash before my eyes and a few times they have moved around. I have had my eyes checked recently for a detached retina as well as other tests to determine glaucoma plus the standard eye exam, everything is fine... I have no explanation for these things and it just started happening a month or so ago... Let me know what you discover! Amanda Posted by: " Linda " crazycats711 danceswithcats999 Mon Oct 22, 2007 11:50 am (PST) I did run off to the eye doctor when I began seeing lights flash in my eyes. Hehe! The doctor couldn't find anything wrong with my eyes. He said he didn't know what was going on, but I was the third person that day to come on because of seeing lights. I can't take Aleve or motrin or even asprin for a headache, it causes my legs to hurt worse than the headache. I take a pill called PowerRelief that has boswella herb and other ingredients for pain. I don't get headches anymore that are bad enough to take anything...but I used too. The chiropacter adjustment help with that.

Guest guest
Amandala, that was about 7 or 8 years ago when I ran off to the eye doctor, mainly because my daughter who had work for an eye doctor, told me it sounded like it could be a detached retina, so that is why I went and had my eyes check. I was told I had very healthy eyes and there was nothing to worry about, so I did not concern my self with it. The flashes of light stopped after a year or so. My flashes of light was more like a rainbow arc of light and was more noticeable in the dark than in daylight. I don't know if it had anything to do with K or not, but it did take place around the time I begain meditating and having OBEs, maybe a little before. I am not for sure when my K activation and symptoms of it started. Maybe as far back as the early 90's when I was doing the 5 Tibetans and a lot of fasting.
