Guest guest
Hi Katherine - Well, anyone who has worked in a hospital knows the full moon affects people - the ER is a crazy house at that time! I am usually only affected by it in relation to the Lyme, but it can make me a little crazy at times. It's so weird, because for instance, tonight I should be perfectly fine. It is just a few days up to, but not including the full moon. Go figure! You must be really healthy with all those veggies! I couldn't live without my chocolate!!!! When I first became ill, I lost so much weight, I was eating a pound of chocolate every 2 days. Now, I don't have that problem though. :-( Thank you for the prayers! Much appreciated. I just had a new therapist added to my regimen, he does something called muscle activation. Very cool stuff! :-) There are only 6 people certified and licensed in the state to do it. Much Love, Melissa , Katherine Miller <katsam19 wrote: > > Hey Melissa, > > I know some people think that the full moon doesn't have an affect on people but like you I know better. I always start during full moon if it is close to my date. I keep track on a calendar and am always 27 or 28 days. Usually one for a while and then the other for awhile accept during full moon.LOL! It does affect our bodies in the strangest ways, go figure, I don't need anymore confusion! LOL! As for cravings, I am not like the rest of the normal people, I don't crave chocolate and I don't really eat it much anyway! Strange huh! Most women do! Me, I crave veggies and juice! I love my veggies and I eat them all the time, but I crave them even more when it my time. I will cook 3 or 4 different kinds for a meal and that is all I usually will eat. It used to be potatoes and rice, the starches, but now in the last 4 or 5 years it is the veggies! Anyway! Don't go too crazy with the full moon and I will try not to as well! > > I hope you are still progressing, you are in my thoughts and prayers! > > Love, > Katherine > > > > Melissa <mm7810 > > Friday, October 26, 2007 9:44:22 AM > Re: Very active? Guest guest
Hi Melissa, when I was searching for stuff on the net on how the moon effects us, (I became interested after a dream my grandson had) I ran across a site where this guy had been doing a lot of research on that and he discovered that more poeple are affected the two days before or the two days after the full moon rather that the full moon day itself. I thought that was interesting. Several years ago when my sister became so ill she almost died, afterwards she ate a lot of chocolate, too. She still eats a lot of it, but not as much. Before she was ill she never care. Chocolate increases those feel good hormones, is what I have read.
