Guest guest
Melissa, You have Lyme disease? How did I miss that? I remember you said something about lymie, I thought you meant you were from England-sorry Elektra if that is a derogatory title! I think there is too much going on on this list, or I am just too slow, or both! When did this happen and how does it affect you? And BTW, if you show up in Columbia any other time than in November, you will be at my Son's. I live in Michigan. Which would probably be fine, he's a rainbow kid, pretty easy going. Now I know I will get questions about that-it's not like Indigo or crystal, altho he may be one of those too, rainbow kids are a little like the kids who followed The Grateful Dead band around the country. These kids are like hippies, full of love and peace. They camp in National forests all over the country and are known for having gatherings of thousands and yet leaving the forest every bit as pristine as they found it, if not better. They have GREAT respect for the Mother earth. If you google " Welcome Home " or Welcome Here " you can get more info. Any way, one time, when I still I still lived there, he brought home a bunch of people from a gathering and they stayed for about a month. I love that sort of thing. DH, does NOT tho. I wasn't living with him at the time. Too much rambling, sorry guys. Namaste, Carol
Guest guest
Hi Carol - Yes, I have Lyme. I have likely had it since I was a kid, but it became bad in 2003. I cannot walk and my brain MRI lights up like a Christmas tree in a MS-like pattern. I may have contracted a secondary strain working with a bunch of ticks in 2002-2003 while doing some research assays on HIV and Erlichiosis. Maybe I will see you in Columbia one of these days, maybe I will see your son, maybe both. Who knows?!? Hehehe. I bet my ticks are still in the freezer at the VA - lol.
