Guest guest
I had a good dream this morning, mostly good! I know that I'm on a pilgrimage. I go to a site where there was a plane crash and many men died (my late husband, of years ago, I think). It is now a memorial park and has a pathway in it with stone plaques, statues and benches for people to sit and reflect. I find it has turned a horrible site into something of a commercial enterprise, like a national park. Many people wander around it but I wonder how many of them truly know what it's about? (I do!). I walk on feeling disgusted. I walk and walk, eventually coming to a pristine wooded glen, creekrunning through a gorge, lots of untouched pine trees. I know that this is where I'll camp tonight as the sun is setting. Many other campers as well. Tent and campfire get me through the night. Day comes and I go out to see all the campers (a hundred at least) out with saws and axes cutting down loads of the pines and some have already started building cabins! I can't believe how fast they did this, since sunrise this morning and already there are finished cabins! I walk around, sad at the stumps of trees I see but exilerated by the new homes and the rustic style of them. I go to one they are finishing and ask if I can look inside. They say, " Yah! This one is yours anyway! " Amazed and speechless, I go in. And I'm astounded at the detail they have put into it! The mouldings and doorways are all that intricately carved (filigree-like) Indian carving, so beautiful!!! How did they know I like this stuff? I carry on and see room after room is to my taste in all things. A few angles are slightly off and one room's floor slopes very slightly. Still it's a log cabin, what do I want, perfection?? I go outside and there is an upstairs balcony that looks off to the side and I have a view of the new community of cabins but if i look east, I still see the gorge with it's creek and have a view of the still pristine part of the woods. I'm so pleased! I hadn't gone on this pilgrimage for this but it got me here and it's not a bad place to be! EOD A good dream, I think. Any thoughts? Thank you, Valarie
Guest guest
Valarie, a very good dream in my book! The cabin would represent a new you, more intricate yet simpler. You will be mostly happy with the new you, but there may be a few ripples to work out. The memorial might symbolize honoring someone's memory with who you become. Perhaps you will be taking on similar qualities or qualities that you know would make them proud. You go girl!
