Guest guest
For those of you who have been able to take a peek at their crown chakra and/or are curious about it, I found a map that seems to reflect Avalon's (fairly convoluted) descriptions in The Serpent Power: http://www.kheper.net/topics/chakras/Sahasrara.htm I would be curious to hear whether there is anything there that looks familiar to you. Cheers, Sel
Guest guest
That red spot sure looks familiar! Or rather should I say FEELS familiar. I have been getting pulsing headaches in one round spot on the top of my head. It almost feels like a drill going into the top of my head. I have woken up 4 out of 6 nights with this pulsing pain. It feels almost as though something is trying to get out of my head. Guest guest
Kundalini is a tradition that goes back atleast 10,000 years, in India. The book " The Serpent Power " was written by Arthur Avlon (Sir John Woodroffe) based on two ancient Sanskrit Texts : (1) Shat Chakra Nirupana and (2) Paduka Panchaka. Sir John has taken the help of Indian scholars to write this and other books. (He gives the above details in his book). Serpent power was published in 1918 and i doubt whether any color pictures were published, at that time. There are books on Kundalini in all indian languages and probably their total number will add up to thousands. Also thousands of Gurus teach Kundalini yoga in India. But very few, of the order of one in a million probably, achieve a fully awakened Godess. It is a very rare occurance. Offcourse there are pretenders galore. The Sahaja Yoga people claim that they will awaken Kundalini in half an hour !! The guru rubs his palms together and holds a palm on top of the head of the aspirant. Some hairs will move and the guru tells that is Kundalini manifesting !! Regards Venugopal Sarita <sarita1969 wrote: That red spot sure looks familiar! Or rather should I say FEELS familiar. Guest guest
The texture and the colours look very familiar to me. When I meditate, similar visions appear in my mind. Also the triangular shape's very familiar, as something that " flows " in my head. Interesting image!
