Guest guest
Actually it MUST be speeding up (but I am getting on also). I was talking to my Mom this weekend and asked her how in the world she had time when we were little to keep house, raise 3 kids (one with disabilities), wash cloth diapers by hand in the tub, sew us clothes, keep a garden, cook from scratch and find time to play with us! Everyday! I'm a stay-at-home Mom, too, and it's all I can do to pick up around the house, do my grocery shop for supper, pick up my daughter from school, do a bit of e-mail, make supper and it's already bedtime!!! Forget nice little projects, really spring cleaning the house or doing something just fun for ME. I think the days MUST be shorter because I need at least 3 of me to do what I feel is the basic stuff. It's really frustrating most of the time. I'm not the best at time-managment or multitasking but come on! I should be able to get more done than I do. I know the clocks still say 24 hrs. goes by but I have a sneaking suspicion some of our hours have been taken away!!! My rant for the day. Guest guest
I'm with you Valarie! I don't have enough time in the day either and I work too! At least reading your post makes me feel a little better. I have been feeling like such a failure lately with the keeping up with the toddler, hubby, household, etc. Sarita , " Valarie Vousden " <vjvousden wrote: > > Actually it MUST be speeding up (but I am getting on also). Guest guest
I second that rant. LOL! I can't keep up with the basic either, much less have time for fun stuff, like painting and crafts. It was not so long ago I used to spend hours doing my crafts and I was able to keep up with the household stuff and even have time for reading. I get frustrated too. There is a lot I want to do, but never seem to have the time to fit it in. Linda , " Valarie Vousden " <vjvousden wrote: > > Actually it MUST be speeding up (but I am getting on also).
